"The staff here make it so amazing! It is an older resort and they have updated some things. The sidewalk around the outer buildings like 7 and 8 is really broken up. Can easily twist an ankle. Food was really good, not "foodie" good but we had no trouble finding something yummy. Blue Moon steak, excellent! The sushi at the Japanese restaurant delish, ate there 4 nights. Mexican restaurant also great. There are 4 restaurants and buffet + coffee shop and sports bar and lunch time pizza near the pool! Drinks are plentiful and they are very accommodating to cocktails they don't know or make often. The beach was beautiful and they do a great job of cleaning up the seaweed. Our room was large and had Ocean view as a bonus!
But again, the staff are what make this resort unforgettable!
Huge shout out to all the staff whose names I didn't get and special thank you to Yovanneti, My Sweet, she rocks that outdoor service area like a SuperStar!! I drank Gin Manhattans at breakneck speed! Pool bar team Eber, Fabian, Miguel my Gin and Tonics were always full! Jorge, Ocatvio and Jose in the lobby made some delicious Negronis and Espresso Martinis! Fabian also took great care of us at the Sushi restaurant, what a sweetheart! Adrian and Angel gave great pool service! Kendall and the entertainment team have more energy than any other resort we have been to, and they've all been good, but this team...WOW! And our housekeeper Ineida kept our room looking immaculate! Thank you all!!!"
