Unfortunately with erosion there was not much actual beach and to make matters worse it often smelled because of a problem with seaweed. The restaurant service was excellent and the food very good and housekeeping great. The doorman also was friendly and helpful. Management and office staff couldn’t have been more useless however. They had a collective sour attitude and even asking them to make change was treated like it was a big burden. The main manager hid in his office. We had booked a stay for 15 days and well in advance told them we wanted to check out two days early. They wouldn’t give us a refund and forced us to stay where there was no beach and an awful smell. They tried to put the blame on Hotels.com but they didn’t know I had already contacted them and they talked to the Hotel and Antonio in reservations wouldn’t budge. Forcing a guest to stay 2 nights they didn’t want to stay after they’d already spent 13 nights is not smart business. Also rather than mop the steep stairs going down to the office after rain they just put up a caution sign. It was so slippery - even being cautious it was SO slippery I fell on the second to last step. I didn’t even bother saying anything to the office staff because they couldn’t be more apathetic if they tried. Also lastly - we stayed in unit 347. It’s tired and dated with no water views and noise outside the bedroom window. Way over priced compared to other places in the area with better amenities. Not good.

This hotel provides great value. You get a suite with a full kitchen and a washer / dryer in the unit. The suite is spacious and the price is right. There are two issues with this hotel: The beach in front of it isn't really usable due to erosion and the fact that it's used for boat docking, and the restaurant is terrible. But since you're close to everything, both issues are easily fixed.

This in an excellent and ideal place to stay while in Playa Del Carmen. Hermelindo was very helpful, as was the rest of the staff. I will definitely make this hotel my go-to from now on.

Perfect location

This hotel was really nice. Stayed here with my partner. We stayed in the penthouse super roomy. The room was very clean. Hotel is right on the beach which was great. Location was also a plus. I would definitely stay here again.

This location was great, the facility is in excellent shape and well maintained. Staff were super friendly, Rudy looks after your beach needs really well. Occupancy was rather low still due to Covid 19, which was nice in that we always got a great table beach side for breakfast, moving right on to a cabana setup afterwards. Things were set up for social distancing, masks and sanitizer. Seaweed is well mitigated by new barrier offshore and daily beach raking. Beach and water were perfect, pools are real nice also. Overall this place is a real gem!

This little hidden gem is so gorgeous! It makes you feel like you’re staying in the jungle. And the jacuzzi/pool is what really sold me; It was beautiful and the water was warm too. These condos are located right on the ocean and only a few feet away from 5th Avenue which includes several restaurants, shopping stores, and convenience stores. The customer service was great! I have no complaints about the check-in process. My husband and I stayed in the 3bed room condo that includes the private terrace and it was very spacious and very clean. I would definitely stay here again.

Honestly best hotel ever! We enjoyed it so much! There where very few people due to Covid but, it was better for us since we had entire place to ourselves!

This place is lovely to look at the entry and courtyards are well designed and decorated. If you like hot tubs, there is one by the pool. We got a 2 bedroom condo. The master was HUGE as was the master bath. There was a second bath and a spare bedroom with twin beds (twins may have been an option). The living room and kitchen area is a ok size. It was clean and the AC worked very well. There is a water cooler. There are a few drinks and snacks for purchase. The coffee is for purchase. Just outside the patio entry doors is a table for 4 that overlooks the pool. The staff are pleasant and helpful.
