The resort was very nice and the food was also very good for all-inclusive. There were several different pools with different atmospheres. We stayed away from the party pools since we had small kids with us. There’s was something for everyone. Very safe and clean resort. For transportation we booked round trip private though happy shuttle. They made everything easy and we’re on time. $134 round trip for 4 people with water, snacks, and booster seat. Covid testing is done at the hotel for $35. It was relatively easy to setup and pay for. Took about 2 hours to get the results.

Excellent place but more suited for families not couples or solo travelers. The buffet food was not that good but the food at the restaurants were excellent. The people were very nice and helpful. wonderful service

The rooms were outdated and felt dirty. Cob webs everywhere. Food was awful and service was terrible. There were a few very friendly people, like Carlos and Cid. My reservation said ALL inclusive but then we got there and had to pay for room service, certain foods, and they would only give you a few drinks to go in minibar each day. It really was a rip off. Hotels.com should definitely be aware of what they post is included and then be caught off guard having to pay extra fees when we got there. The only positive thing i have to say is that the grounds are beautiful!

Read this for the honest truth!: This is BY FAR the WORST hotel in all of Mexico! I don’t even know where to start. From the first day we got there we had problems! The line to check is was ridiculously long. There was also no order to checking in, people were cutting the line and the staff did not care at the slightest. Once it was finally our turn to check in, the receptionist told us that they accidentally booked us in the “Family/Children” section of the hotel and asked us if we would like to upgrade our room to the Adult-Only “Villas” for $170 American dollars a NIGHT (we were staying for 8 nights!) since they were fully booked and no other room was available. We said that price is ridiculous and we kindly offered to pay $50 a night (to avoid conflict and enjoy our vacation) to which she quickly replied her manager said no. Since we were not willing to pay the price, she said she found a room for us alllll the way down by the resort on the 3rd floor (mind you, the resort from the check in area to the beach is 1 mile long so make sure you are able to walk that as there is no transportation on the resort). They made us wait ALL day until finally giving us the room key. When we went to the bell boy to tell us where to go he laughed and said “oh the elevator also doesn’t work”. At this point, after waiting all day long and wasting a day of our vacation, we insisted on speaking to the manager who was refusing to come out to speak to us. First the room I booked was not the room I supposed to get. I even called and they verified the room type had a jacuzzi tub on balcony. I had to pay to upgrade. The platinum was not open at Sunset. No concierge or beach open on sunset side. I had to go to other facility for concierge. The customer service was not good they sell you spa services but fail to tell you that the pools in the spa were closed same price.? We did not get to use the hydrotherapy because of no communication no ovation of why we came to spa. We sat for 45 minutes in a room. And got 10-25 minutes in hydrotherapy. They wouldn’t reschedule said I had to pay. The next day I went and they said they had a leak and couldn’t do it. They are. So worried about selling a time share they don’t tell you about the facilities. The free water activities couldn’t use paddle boards under maintenance. The hobie sail boat you have to be experienced sailor. But you can get lessons and then take it but know one tells you that until your leaving. The reservations for specialty restaurants only can be booked 3 days before. Do you only get those restaurants 3 days later. The food and service is good in specialty restaurants. Buffets run out of food and don’t restock. Overall the communication about resort could be a lot better. Food could be better in buffet breakfast is good. I don’t think I’ll be back.

The hotel is very big and has a wonderful pathway lined with palm trees. It has a good number of pools, however do be aware pool hours are up until 8pm. They have multiple on site buffets and restaurants.

We stayed in a villa and our shower didn't work. It took roughly 4 hours to get it fixed. (simple fix, ust needed to tighten something). Covid testing was ridiculous and the resort offered no help other than to go to town and pay more money for one after you pay for another taxi. large facility but the staff seemed ill-equipped to keep up with the needs of the guests.
