The perfect getaway destination.
Such a lovely place. The grounds are gorgeous. From the minute you check in you are made to feel at home. The lodge is gorgeous and open to all guests to enjoy food, games and a warm fire. Our room was huge and very private. We cannot speak highly enough about the manager Faith who went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful. She’s a gem, just like the lodge itself.

Happen to find this place after a long day of travel. What a gem with a cabin feel. Its a beautiful setting, quiet, close to town, and such a wonderful host. Loved everything about this place and hope to come back someday.

Schöne Unterkunft im Wald, Zimmer wie auf den Bildern, großes Bad, Blick in den Wald, schönes Grundstück. Besonders gutes Frühstück, dass frisch zubereitet wurde. Das Beste, dass wir in den USA hatten. Leider haben wir keinen Bär gesichtet. Selbst-Check in ist auch zu späteren Uhrzeit möglich

Liked the spacious king bed room (#3), comfortable bed, clean room, good AC, a balcony with trees around, and a shower better than most. (Recommend eat at The Northridge.) On the slight downside for us was there was no TV, only one coffee filter for reg and decaf coffee, and no ice bucket. There was no one in the office the entire time so no one to ask questions, but room keys clipped to office door.

We adored the property. Melissa, the Inn Keeper was so sweet. She showed us around the property. Let us know that we could walk into the office after hours if we needed ice, coffee etc. Having breakfast on the office deck was precious, and the home cooked meal was delicious. I am glad that we knew beforehand by reading a review, that some of the rooms do not have a tv, so it wasn't a shock to us. We didn't miss it at all. our room was large and beautifully decorated on the second level with two queen beds. We did have a small refrigerator and microwave. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience and would absolutely recommend a stay there, surrounded by woods and scenery on the property.

Such a wonderful location that met our every need. Beautiful grounds, perfect room and an included over-the-top breakfast. Being pet friendly means you get to mingle with a nice group of people.

Very clean and picturesque. Great value for price. Booked 2 twin bed room and it was comfortable, clean and beautiful. Garden and forest surrounding were pleasant. Lots of insects in the evening, so definitely need bug spray at hand.

Could be nice place with an update
The room was clean and wide with view of the forest . The room was cold when we arrived, it would be nice to turn on the heat before we arrived , the bathroom was cold and there is no heater in it. The Desk open between 8 am to 5 pm and breakfast ( Sunday) was 8-10 am , without another option when one wants to start the day earlier .

We stayed at a quiet and beautiful place with very friendly staff who prepared a nice breakfast. Whenever some items ran out, they promptly cooked more. It was our first time interacting with the staff, and the experience felt entirely different from staying at a big hotel. Even though the room didn't have a TV, we still liked it very much. Since it's not far from Lake Tahoe, we plan to stay here again during the ski season. During our stay, we also had the pleasure of meeting a group of elderly people from Reno and the Bay Area who regularly meet at this lodge every year, with their next gathering scheduled for this August. They enjoyed hiking and chatting together, which further underscored the quality of this lodge.

Very Accomodating
We were greeted very well and they were accomodating of our odd check out time. The place is absolutely beautiful and has a very home like feel. My one complaint is that the bed was really hard and I woke up with a sore back. Other than that everything was perfect.

Worth a repeat trip.
The lodge was so cute and cozy. Staff made me feel welcomed. Location felt secluded even though it wasn’t far from town. I highly suggest giving this place a try. I will definitely be staying her again.
