At nearly $500 a night we expected quite a lot more. First the good - it is in the perfect location to visit the geyser basin and trails near Old Faithful. That is really all you are paying for. The rooms are very old. You can hear conversations from neighboring rooms clearly. None of these things were available that one might expect for $500 a night: in-room safe, daily housekeeping, room service, AC, TV, Wi-Fi, pod coffee, valet parking, baggage delivery to the room. There is also no table service in the $100 for two people restaurant (just buffet).
Both beds (we could only get a two-queen room) were short sheeted with the bottom sheet running across the top half of the bed instead of lengthwise on the bed covering the whole mattress (clearly made be someone who never made a bed before). There was a dirty towel on the hook on the backside of the bathroom door from the previous guest.
In short, one of the worst hotel experiences (aside from the location) that we have ever had.
