Beautiful Georgian House - Perfectly Located

Do NOT reserve from this site. It was a fiasco getting in because there is no reception desk. You are emailed a code for the house door and your room. There is also NO PARKING. Forget trying street parking. Drop your bags and go to the Charlotte St car park. .5 mile walk. Not bad but uphill. Alex was a great help getting us sorted. Once the initial panic faded, the place itself was amazing. Comfortable bed. Nicely decorated. Tea and coffee with biscuits (cookies) available in the rooms. Good WiFi. Easy walk to just about everything, but again, being Hill House, the walk home is always up hill! 😂

Lovely apartment with a kitchen. We were expecting more on the breakfast part since it’s called a bed & breakfast. We love the classic bed & breakfast and have stayed in a lot of them around the UK, so a bit disappointing on that part. Other than that the place was clean, cosy and we had a great stay.

Good overnight stop

Easy to find and clear, helpful check in details. Lovely and quiet, spacious room in beautiful house. Felt like staying in your own luxury home away from the bustle of the city centre. Very stylish. Friendly welcome.

Beautiful B&B (although without the second B due to kitchen renovations). Gorgeously decorated and the most fantastic superking bed even in the 'standard' room. Amazing views from the top floor. Bigger and better-quality range of teas and coffees in the room than most hotels, plus fresh milk in a fridge on the middle landing. Incredibly helpful and responsive management. Can't fault it.

This is a very nice hotel with easy self-check in. There were lots of things to see and do in the area, but be prepared to walk up and down the hill!

Gorgeous interior to hotel, we had a sizeable bathroom too. Very comfy bed. Surprisingly quiet at night. (The walk up the hill and up the stairs was a little tricky being pregnant!)

Great place to stay

Alex was amazing. Super friendly and very helpful! (We unfortunately didn't get to meet Tina this trip). Cute and comfortable room a walkable distance to several pubs and restaurants. City center is also walkable, just a bit farther out.
