Not surprised.
I arrived at 1am for a one night stay. I asked at checkin if I could have a late check out. The lady said I could check out at 12. Housekeeping started knocking at 9. The front desk started calling at 11am but when I would pick up there would be no one there. I called the hotel from my cell phone because the phone in the room wouldn’t allow calls out and was told a note wasn’t left that I was checking out late. No apology. The hotel was in mediocre condition and the staff was incompetent and unprofessional. Pretty much what you’d expect from a Quality Inn in Marion South Carolina.

Not worth the money spent for what was received.
The room my husband and I had was 220. There was a big hole in the bathroom door. The decor and room furnishings were outdated and worn. The walls had patches and the ceiling had paint from the walls being painted. The hallway carpet was absolutely filthy. The condition of the hotel needs some attention. Definitely was not worth the hotel cost of $100. On average the room was worth less than $50. My husband and I will not stay at this hotel again.

The hotel staff were very friendly, the area is very convenient. Love that it’s a Walmart, Gas station and a lot of fast food options walking distance to the hotel. This hotel is old and needs major renovations, once that happens it would be a great place to stay.

The bathroom near the front desk reception area was out of order, it was not working last year when we stayed there. The toilet in #207 needed to be replaced & the wash cloths & towels were very thin. I stay there because it is the closest hotel to my mom’s place, if there was someplace else I could stay I would. The hotel wasn’t necessarily dirty, but it definitely needs improvement! Thanks A. Freeman

Nice staff and bright, updated common area. But the hall carpets are torn and stained. Same for the guest room. Chipped paint. Battered furniture. Broken soap holder in the shower. Grimy window. Musty smell when entering the room. Still, the room and bathroom were clean. Fresh linens on the bed and a clean shower basin.

Property should be renovated completely. The carpet, faucet, the surrounding. Not pleasant at all. I got there about 10pm, and I left around 6am I couldn’t wait for daylight to leave the place.

The check in clerk was friendly. The room was clean, but musty smelling. Turning the air conditioner down quickly took the smell away. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was spacious and clean. It was good for an overnight stay.
