The Money paid worth for Better.
Generally speaking, this was not a pleasant stay. I will just try to state the facts objectively for reference.
Cleanliness: The apartment was generally clean inside. However, there was a distinct moldy smell at the door. We needed to hold our breath every time we entered and left the apartment. One thing more, daily housekeeping service was not provided as promised in the Hotels.com description.
Service Quality: This apartment should be managed by the Lusso Management Company. It was impossible to contact them. No replies to several email inquiries. Some phone calls were cut very shortly and rudely. During the stay, no one ever responded to the so-called 24hr service hotline.
Apartment equipment: We got everything thing we need in the apartment. The apartment was spacious. The online photos matched what we saw there. Steep stairs from the street level down to the doorway. People travelling with the elderly should be careful.
Apartment location: The apartment was in a quiet neighborhood. Very close to the Victoria Coach Station and a Tesco Express. Walking distance to the Westminister Abbey. A cafe for breakfast should be 10-15 mins of walking distance away.
Given the fees paid, we were expecting more from the apartment and the Lusso Management. It was strange that we could not find any reviews about the apartments under Lusso Management. We would definitely consider other options next time visiting London.
