Although the location was very good, the apartment had it's faults. There was only hot water in the shower that had it's own hot water heater. the windows would not stay open without propping them up with books. The owner was very friendly and helpful and appears to be doing some work to improve the building.

Horrible apartment!

First of all, the lady was extremely rude and impatient. She wouldn't allow me to view the property before signing the rental agreement. Then when finally view the property it was dirty and extremely different to the images. False advertisement. I wouldn't recommend here at all! I decided to not stay.

Quiet flat, conveniently located.

This was a last minute change to our itinerary and they were able to accommodate our needs for a ground floor flat with an early check in. It’s a fantastic location in a beautiful Victorian building, family owned, close to the tube, shopping, and restaurants. Our hosts had a lot of recommendations and advise about the area. I would highly recommend the flat purely due to the location. The beds are comfortable and the flat is clean. There was washer and a drying rack in the flat (no dryer combo). We were very comfortable for our stay for almost a week with 5 adults, even with one toilet. The decor is more cozy than upscale. The communication with the staff is outstanding and it truly feels like a home away from home. I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Fantastic location, close to Kensington Gardens

Travelocity helped book this hotel for us after our other reservation 49 Lancaster Gate - total scam) was canceled upon arrival in London. That's another story. Back to this property. The manager, Muhammad, and the owner, Shaileen, couldn't possibly be more responsive, and helpful. It had been an incredibly long day for us by the time we reached the hotel/apartment. Shaileen helped us pick our choice of unit that fit our needs (we picked the "underground"/walk-down unit which has two bathrooms and 3 bedrooms. You're paying for the location here. Within walking distance of two underground stations, and Kensington Gardens; and not far from Paddington Station, the location is great. There's a pub across the street and lots of dining options a short walk away. We were with three little ones and everything was super accessible. You can add cleaning service for 15 pounds a day. The unit was clean, with lots of storage space. Included a washer/dishwasher, stove, microwave and other kitchen appliances. The kitchen is small, but functional. We mostly got takeout. You'll need to take your own toiletries. If you don't travel with them, there's a Sainsbury Local grocery chain close by where you can stock up. Shaileen made a list of places for us to explore. Muhammad responded each time I texted him with a question or request. They truly couldn't have been more hospitable. Highly recommend!
