I am a gold member with Expedia and use their service a lot recently, but this has been a terrible experience and I hate how these people get away with this and keep doing business. We book this apartment with them months in advance so no real short notices. Yet, we have been trying to communicate both thru the Expedia messaging and direct and somehow got a reply once by a crystal that we will get check in details a week before and our check in request has been noted. We were in Edinburgh in the last week a family and hence we booked this accommodation. we had 2 KIDs with us a well. I kept ringing their provided number even to extent that we boarded the train from edinburgh to london with no response. finally, with expedia , I got given the managers number ANDREA. she finally made contact and said you must have whats app and started conversing there. I still have all the messages and I am going to look for ombudsman in london for hotels to supply messages and their service still. After a while on same day when with family on train and landing in london in night 11pm, she withdrew and stated we cannot accommodate you anymore. When asked she said the only thing she can do is divide our family in two and give us a small room which were 31 minutes apart by train..landing AT 11 PM in night. Can you imagine? sending kids seperately to 2 unknown locations and else you can book somewhere else. I will highly recommend to stay away. Expedia will know as they tried to ring themselves

Good Location for O2
The room and location itself were perfect for what I needed as we were going to the O2 and I wanted a place with two rooms. We had a 1 bed apartment with sofa bed in the living room. It is located two minutes away from the cable car which goes straight over to the O2. Canning Town tube is about 10 minutes walk away and Royal Victoria DLR.
The concerns I have all relate to payment and check-in. I booked a Pay at Check in rate to give me freedom to change my mind if required as I was booking 4 months before we were staying. A month before my check-in date I was contact by Klaro to advise that I had to make a bank transfer for the full amount to secure my booking,rate and to get check in instructions. This takes away the flexibility of paying at check in and made me a little uncomfortable as I'm used to paying at hotels. I eventually paid a week before check in but then even after multiple chases to Klaro i didn't receive my check details until the night before going.
On the day of check in you have to meet one of the representives at the property as it is a residential block. I phoned her 30 mins before my arrival as instructed and everything was fine, when i got there and phoned again I was told she had an urgent meeting so couldn't meet me and to just go up to the apartment.
I booked through hotels.com as I wanted the confidence of being in a hotel rather than meeting someone in the street with a key to an apartment.

Apartment was lovely.
Only downside was there were no blinds or curtains on any in the windows so you were woken extremely early in the morning.

Needs TLC.
Great location and a modern apartment building ideal for accessing the Excel. However, the check in was delayed by the Klaro representative arriving late. There were no curtains or blinds in the lounge or bedrooms so you have no privacy and the rooms are light from 5.30am. The headboard in one of the bedrooms was hanging off the wall and the carpet had significant large old stains. For the price, location and quality of the apartment we were very disappointed. If these items were addressed it would be an ideal stay.

All you could ask for
Impressive view from the awesome balcony. Great interior, fully equipped kitchen, great bathrooms, cosy badrooms with great view. Everything you could ask for and just minutes to walk to Excel exhibition centre and London City airport. Excellent service!

Top location near Excel and over the river from the O2 via cable car before 21:30. Residential tower not a hotel with slightly disconnected check in using mobiles and unmentioned deposit > the nightly rate which took two weeks to return - but they are just starting and are having banking difficulties. If you're going to anything nearby it's pretty good. Car parking is a b*tch and probably not suitable for kids - no curtains in the apartment, so overall 4*

Great potential but one to AVOID
This has the potential to be a great apartment, but is definitely one to be avoided if you value your comfort and sanity! We were met with a flthy interior, very suspicious stains on the floor/wall, and suspicious smells etc. We recieved very bad service from the agents, and were pretty much told to sort out any issues or queries on our own. It's taken over 2 weeks of fighting to get the security deposit back....probably the worst night's stay I've ever had! AVOID!!!
