Ridgemount is close to several Tube stations (Goodge, Euston, & Tottenham Court Rd) and only a few blocks from the British Museum. It may seem like it is on the fringe, but our family of 5 (2 adults & 3 teenagers) was easily able to walk as far as Parliament/Westminster Abbey, Piccadilly Circus, and Leicester Square and had easy access to several Tube stops for travel further out. While the rooms & bathroom/shower space are small, we only needed enough space to crash each night so for our family, this was a great place to stay. In addition, the managers were wonderful - always checking in with us and asking each morning where we were going so they could help provide the best way we could travel there. I wouldn't hesitate to book here again.

Small and charming hotel in a 250 year old building. Friendly staff, an OK breakfast. Nice gardens in the backyard. No elevators if you aren’t very mobile.

Very nice old hotel with great staff and in a great location. Rooms were very quiet. Short walk to the British Museum and to restaurants and pubs. A reasonable walk to the major other tourist attractions. Nice breakfast, too. Would highly recommend it for the price and location!

Mr Rees was Tube Guru-very helpful with routes & possible maintenance slowdowns. Night clerk Eddy always willing to look up tourist info. Staff very attentive.

The room was rather large and was enough to accommodate my family of 4 with all our luggage and things. The front desk staff is outstanding and provides excellent customer service. I would stay again.

charming hotel that is kept in excellent condition and very clean. You are taken care of very well during your stay and the staff are so helpful and friendly! The breakfast is absolutely delicious! Highly recommend! This very comfortably slept our family of 5. It is just a couple of blocks to a tube station and in a very quiet neighborhood just a short walk to the British Museum.

Very good stay, good and convenient location. My only complain is probably the mattress in the room as it seem to be very old and very inconvenient. Other than that very nice people.

My go to hotel in London, well located near tube and train stations. Nearby shops, pubs and restaurants. Staff are always friendly and helpful with tips to make my journey and time in London smooth.
