We have stayed in an apartment with 2 bedrooms, 2 toilets and a balcony. The facilities are new and well equipped. Rooms are clean and tidy. Although it needs some time to the nearest train station(10-15 min to South Quay DLR or Canary Wharf subway), the area is safe, quiet and comfortable. Wifi signal is strong and stable. Overall the environment is good, staffs are nice and helpful.

There is no reception for checking in and the name of the property is not shown on the building. I had ask twp passersby to help me identify the building, then call the office. I had to wait outside in cold weather for about an hour, and ask for help at another business across the street, so that I could make contact with the office again, before someone came to let me in.

When we arrived Nd settled in we realised only then that the lounge was broken and could not be used. Also there were no cleaning cloths to wipe down the benches. No coffee machine or plunger. No dryer for the washing machine. Floor was dirty. Hall carpet a serious trip hazard where it has come away from the stairs. Dirty stairwell.

Stay away
Leiligheten var i dårlig forfatning. Nøkkelen til bygget fungerte ikke og hotellet var ikke villig til å bistå med adkomst og trenerte alle henvendelser med håpløse svar på mail. Vi måtte finne et annet hotell.

Allison was vert nice and helpful. Answered all our inquiries as best as she can. Even had her husband help with golfing questions. The shortbread welcome cookies she made was a hit. Yummy. Walkable to edinburgh proper if u like a nice stroll. Easy to find with uber drivers.

Ok at best
Galet varmt i lägenheten. Handdukstorken så varm att det inte gick att vara alls i badrummet. Mycket fuktskadat så det fanns väl anledning. Trasig bäddsoffa gav nackspärr. Incheckningen kostade mycket extra på grund av sen ankomst. Mycket bra läge, och väldigt bra indisk restaurang (Lime) tvärs över gatan.

Apartment is ok.. There is a Tesco a block from the apartment and tube station is about a 10 min walk. You will be charged extra for checking after 7pm.. We end up paying an additional 50 GBP since we had to check in after 9pm. Also, the sofa bed advertised was broken.. so they end up putting a mattress on a temporary support. Incredibly uncomfortable.

The location of the building was further off the river than expected and surrounded by many tall buildings limiting the view. Inside the suite there was some damage to the blinds so we didn't draw them.

Appartement war wirklich ok, leider war die Heizung nicht eingestellt, da ich es selber nicht schaffte, hatten wir während des Aufenthalts im Dezember 16 Grad in der Wohnung und kein warmes Wasser. Das könnte man doch auch so einstellen, dass es funktioniert, bevor die Gäste kommen...

The experience was totally ruined with a problem with the plumbing. On the Friday lunchtime of our stay (whilst we were out) we were contacted by the Managersto advise us that the water needed to be turned off due to a leak in the downstairs Gym. We got back that evening to find that the issue had been resolved (apparently) but our apartment had no water, including an ability to flush toilets and shower. As of the Sunday two nights later this had still not been resolved, and I had rung the Managers on 8 separate occasions that day with no reply. This was very distressing for my wife and family and I was left with no alternative other than to book us in to a nearby hotel at my further expense for the remaining 4 nights of our stay in London. I have written to the Managers on several occasions now seeking compensation, and so far they have only provided us with a refund for the Friday and Saturday night - not happy!!!

Could be nice
I rarely complain but......Manilla Street is quite long and the address given on our booking receipt was incomplete. We arrived at the agreed time but were kept waiting in very cold weather for several minutes. Greeting was friendly and helpful. On the 4th floor the stairs were quite a challenge. Fire alarm went off twice on the second day. It was reported but no explanation received. Heating was difficult to control and seemed to be intermittent. Second day all water stopped. Returned after some hours. Day of departure no hot water at all, and no heating, so not possible to shower for two days. Check out time on the booking form was listed as 11.00, but in practice is was 10.30. We dutifully took all rubbish to the bin locker (down the narrow staircase) to find the code for the bin locker was incorrect. Luckily there was a Household waste depository bin nearby. On the dot of 10.30 a cleaner arrived, perhaps the most rude person I have ever come across. No eye contact and the only words I managed to extract were "no English". The apartment was actually very nice and well equipped, but quite expensive and these problems were very detrimental to our short stay.

Tyvärr blev inte denna lägenhet vad vi önskade. Mycket problem och tjat om orena sängkläder. När man bytte det så var det otrevligt bemötande och det suckades och var så jobbigt att hjälpa oss med det. Vi har fått ringa och maila varje dag i stort sett för det alltid varit något. Inte grytor och stekpannor så det räcker för 7 pers och inte heller ugnsformar eller skålar så man kan laga mat, därför tog vi lägenhet istället för hotell. Vi bidde 4 tjejer här varav 2 opererades i London dagen efter vi anlände och man orkar inte med massa tjat om allt. Sedan var det söndrigt på vissa ställen tex i vardagsrummet med gardinerna man drar för, och dörrar smutsiga, samt golvet var inte rent utan sockarna var smutsiga efter en stund. Det var väldigt noga vad vi inte fick göra och om vi gjorde det var det kostnad på allt. Isåfall måste allt vara ordning när man kommer. Handdukarna hade vi önskat byttes ut då man inte vill ha samma under en hel vecka. Absolut inte när man blöder efter operationen. Tyvärr är vi väldigt missnöjda med denna lägenhet. Levde inte upp till det som stod om den.

체크인 하기 굉장히 힘들다. 보증금을 요구하는데 카드문제로 3시간 동안 밖에서 추운 길에서 기다리게 하였다. 체크인 시스템을 미리 공지하거나 개선할 필요가 있다.

Zuerste war der Check Inn, hier bekommt man eine Rufnummer bei der man sich vor Ort melden soll. Ein Wegbeschreibung oder ähnliches bekommt man nicht. Eine genau Adresse bekommt man erst auf Aachfrage!?
Nach den "self" CheckInn wird erwartet das man ohne jeglich Anleitung alles selbst in Gang bringt. Da wir aber keine Klempner sind hatten wir am ersten Tag kein warmes Wasser und keine Heizung. Da wir um 18Uhr erst vor Ort waren und dann so gegen 19Uhr herraus gefunden hatten das nur kaltes Wasser aus dem Wasserhahn kam, war der Ansprechpartner auch nicht mehr erreichbar. Was bedeutete das wir in einem kalten Appartment ohne warmes Wasser übernachten mussten.
Am nächsten Morgen konnten wir das Problem dann nach zahlreichen Versuchen entsprechend weiter geben und bekamen die Antwort das im laufe des Tages ein Techniker dannach schauen könne. Vor Ort waren wir natürlich nicht, da wir ja nicht in London waren um im Appartment zu sitzen und auf einen Techniker zu warten. Naja voller Hoffnung sind wir dann am 2. Tag ins Appartment gekommen mit der Hoffnung das nun alles ginge. Gut das warme Wasser funktionierte aber der Techniker dachte wohl eine Heizung braucht man nicht. Natürlich war von der Hotline keiner mehr erreichbar!
Und wieder am nächsten morgen nach mehrfachen Versuchen der Hotline geschildert das die Heizung immer noch nicht funktioniert. Das ende vom Lieb war dann das die den Thermostat vergessen hatten in die Wohnung zu legen. Eine Entschädigung gab es nicht!

Really nice apartment, very clean and well presented. Not far from Canary Wharf underground and a Tesco is just round the corner, not so great for late night deliveries.
only complaint is with the check in procedure, they ask you to give an eta, which i did but as driving said this could change. i updated the eta throughout the journey only to have to wait over an hour to get in the apartment as the agent had to go and let other guests in elsewhere.
