Great location, dated amenities
Can't beat the location. Very easy to jump on a trail and go see the park. The lodge is dated and the hot water wasn't working at first and our tub was clogged. They sent someone out right away and they did get hot water going, but the tub never did drain quite right. Smells a bit musky when you get in, like there is lingering moisture issues. You are definitely paying the premium price for the location and not the quality of the lodging. But, everyone was super helpful and nice and it was clean, just dated.

Adjoined rooms can be very loud.
The room was nice but not relaxing. We had an adjoined cabin and the people next door, who seemed to be talking in a regular voice, sounded like they were right beside us. I could make out every word. It was around midnight when they got in so we didn’t have a restful night at all. It’s luck of the draw here I suppose but something I believe people should be aware of.

For a National Park Lodge this lived up to every thing we dreamed of. It had exactly what we needed, a place to sleep, to shower and food! Perfectly located within the park. I will say if you arrive after sunset understand its going to be pitch black which makes for great star gazing but hard for driving. Also if you are reserving from and here and arriving late call them so you can get the correct access code.

Cabins are very quiet and comfortable
Our cabin was very clean, comfortable and well outfitted. We especially enjoyed the fireplace and the quiet. The one negative was that some of the food and drink service ranged from amateurish to downright surly.

Location, location, location. The location cannot be beat. So nice to be able to stay in the middle of the park and the view from the courtyard and the running chairs out front... That being said the bed was noisy and air conditioner was broken... and there was a dirty washcloth in our bathroom on arrival. We only stayed one night if the convenience of the location is not important... stay in Springdale!

What an absolute dump. I don’t think I’ve ever given a property such a poor review, but everything is lacking. The rooms are not clean. The common areas smell horrible. Tons of deferred maintenance all over the property and horrible smells. Whoever manage this property into the ground should be fired because it is such a gorgeous location with such an absolutely awful hotel.

OMG !!! This was amazing, the sunset between the cannon is spectacular. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable about the park. The cabin was spacious and convenient. I would definitely coming back. The breakfast was really good and with those views!!!!

The Bad the room smelled very bad musky smell that hit everytime you walked in, Carpet felt damp. The main restaurant onsite was not very good. The Good- The chairs were comfy, eveything worked and it had a nice deck with Rocking chairs that were nice. Location is great being in the park.
