Vi bodde i den utdaterte delen av hotellet, så den delen bærer preg av å trenge en liten oppgradering. Ellers var det et koselig hotell med deilig basseng og god frokost.

Unclean carpets, hallway, staurs filthy. Room smelt. Stayed in a Jnr suite!!! A small room with a bizarre corridor and filthy smelly room attached to it that was only fit to store suitcases! The sofa was filthy!!! Free parking, not available due to a wedding party taking every available space! Never would i stay there again, more hostel than hotel!!

Really disappointed, I paid to upgrade my room...what a terrible mistake Safe didn't work TV remote didn't work Kettle lid fell off Shower was garbage Communal hallways and landing is disgusting, at best 2* Health Club? That is a dump! Gym equipment, at least 20 years old.... jacuzzi had hardly no power jets, Positive is all the staff are lovely, apart from Maria the duty Manager who was supposed to contact me with my stay issues, how strange to this day I've still not heard from her....

Connaught is a wonderful hotel excellent rooms and even better staff ( reception, bars, dining, cleaners etc0 wide range menus, nice to sit outside ( when sun is shining of course) close to the seaside and good parking

Basic hotel. Room was clean and functional but corporate looking. Soulless. Breakfast was basic too. Wanted to eat in the hotel restaurant but it was completely empty on a bank holiday weekend so that was a red flag. Location perfect but parking first come first served. Will not stay again.

Only stayed one night and everything was excellent but if I was staying longer the room is small and bathroom even smaller! This was not a problem for me, I suspect it would be for someone who is larger than 5’4” and 9 stone! Anyone booking a single room should bear this in mind. Apart from that the room was lovely and exceptionally clean, the bed extremely comfortable and bedding crisp and fresh white cotton. Breakfast was amazing.

Had a good stay at the Connaught Lodge. We were visiting with some friends so booked 2 rooms and check-in was smooth, apart from there being quite a big queue at the check-in desk. Staff were very friendly and helpful. As some previous reviews have stated, the rooms in the lodge are a little outdated and could do with some freshening up (repainting, replacing old furniture etc). However, they were still pleasant to stay in and had all the basic amenities required, including air conditioning. A note on accessibility, there was also only 1 small lift in the lodge building which only really had enough room for 1 person and 1 suitcase. The main building of the hotel is lovely and we really enjoyed using the bar and spa facilities. 2 of us also had spa treatments at the Bluewater Cottage which is within the car park area. The breakfast was great, both in terms of taste and selection, and both mornings we found we were able to get a table straight away. Overall, this is a good hotel which is in an ideal location for reaching the main attractions of Bournemouth. To become great, I feel they need to modernise and clean up the rooms a bit.

We had a lovely large room. Very clean and comfortable. Only thing, they ran out of milk sachets, but gave us a jug of fresh milk instead.

Down visiting friends and family, the hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The leisure facilities were excellent with a well laid out facilities plan with only one problem of having to find the toilets which were separate from the changing rooms, and found at the end of the corridor on the right hand side. As for the room itself, it was clean and tidy with an air-con unit when it gets too hot. There was a stain on the duvet cover (a small one but nothing serious) and the same again on the carpet. Room walls were thin, so it was easy to overhear personal conversations in the rooms next door when the volume becomes excessive. The only major gripe I had is the hotel was made up of two separate buildings and we weren't in the main building. Had the weather been inclement, with no means of getting from one building to another, staying dry in the process would have been impossible and having an orangery or covered bridge / veranda would be beneficial.
