I was on a long drive across four states and asked my wife who was not with me to find me a room in a city that was 2 hours from home. It was late at night and I did not feel safe pushing the last two hours. Besides, I needed to stock up on groceries since we live far from large supermarkets. When I got to my room, I was pleasantly surprised at the spartan decor, cleanliness and simplicity of the room. Another bonus was my car, loaded with personal belongings, was parked right outside my room so I could see or hear any unusual activity. There was none and I had a great night's sleep. The next morning I texted my wife a big thumbs up.
