We booked a 2 bed apartment as travelling with our young daughter, having separate bedrooms and living room/kitchen facilities was ideal for us for keeping milk/breakfast/dinner items as we would always be back early. On arrival we were told our apartment was up a lane so we had to carry all our suitcases/cot/buggy etc a distance to firstly get in to our apartment, the lane it was in was quite dark and in that first night we got put on edge by a man standing in the lane watching us when we were leaving. The gate also didnt have a lock on it which meant anyone could come in the back yard and look in the bathroom window which had no curtains or enter the unlocked mattress store in the rear yard. the table/worktop had not seen any attention in a long time, there was a large burn mark on the carpet and the bed was very uncomfortable. We were staying 3 nights, in the morning after the first night we left and didn't come back until around 7:30pm, there was a pair of knickers outside the apartment that had appeared since the last night. I felt unsafe so we put a slab up at the gate so we would know if anyone tried to come in, within 10 minutes someone knocked the brick over, reception was helpful and moved us to suite on the top floor and gave us a complimentary meal as we had lost our cooking facilities. However we booked that room for these specific amenities which we only had for one day. The apartment let's down the hotel and unfortunately we will not return.

Apart from check in where there was a very long queue and wait, we enjoyed our stay. The apartment we stayed in was well equipped and comfortable but could do with an upgrade. Overall, our stay was good and value for money.

Very disappointing, nothing like what the Hotel advertises on their website. Avoid Apartment 1 - terrible smell, very run down & not very clean. Wifi is non-existent so kids were not happy. The courtyard outside our door was filthy & covered in broken glass. Not welcoming & not great for Children.

Our apartment looked nothing like the photos. Apartment was on a busy street, roasting hot so the windows had to be open. Didn’t get a lot of sleep. Bathroom was tiny, no window and a fan that sounded like a cow was dying - very disappointed with the hygiene especially with covid.

Extremely dated. Not clean, and alot of brown mouldy marks throughout every room. The living room had a funny smell too. Wouldnt stay here again. Paid £130! Rip off.

Great location, good views & friendly staff. Poor wifi in room away from river front, noisy neighbour room on 1 night & a fire alarm alert at 7.30am on 1 morning were the only glitches on what otherwise was a very pleasant stay.

It was the second time we stayed there. The first was 2 years ago. It is the hotel we will choose whenever we visit Inverness, it is our favorite but because we really love it I would suggest a small renovation. For us it will always be first choice.
