Standards have slipped
Room stunk of smoke. One mattress felt like cardboard. Tv wouldn’t turn on. Bath rusty. Mirror cracked. Light wouldn’t work. Hot tap wouldn’t turn off. Shelf damaged. Stain on duvet, but other than that it was ok

ONLY BAD THINGS I FOUND WAS ..Really busy only bad thing . All tables was reserved for other families even hour b4 there time to be there Sausages on my mix grill not nice cheap And chicken fell apart like it wasnt chicken. Too soft . And it cost £20 for a mix grill and a pint

Santa was responsible for my poached egg 😆
On arrival staff smoking outside the hotel door Room was ok bit tired which i expected. Room over looked kitchen, bins and electric units. Went into bar. On one side was a queue for food so went to the front bar which was busy with drinkers. Waited 10 mins nothing so went to the back area to be told we are not using that bar because we are busy so then you had to join a queue of diners . We only wanted one drink. Didnt bother. Breakfast in morning Was ok for what you pay but poached egg was rock solid when i asked Sorry we are really busy. Its secret santa. I presume santa wasnt cooking. Poor excuse again. Room was made up after 1st night But the discarded tissues under the bed that were there when we checked in was still there 3 days later when we checked out. Not much point saying anything as the answer always seem to be "we are busy". Last night instead went for a drink at the greene king pub over the rd same firm. 1 drink no smile no thank you. We went to bed. No pleasant Manners cost nothing Never again thank you.

We used the hotel as a stop over for an awards evening. The hotel was good, but the only things were the running hot tap and the condition of the bathroom ceiling.

A Poor Afterthought
Dear Hotel Management, I am writing to express my disappointment with my recent stay at your facility. Unfortunately, the experience was far from satisfactory. Upon arrival, I encountered a non-functioning toilet in the first room assigned to me. The subsequent room, while available, was in a state of disrepair. The armchair upholstery was torn, and the walls and ceiling showed signs of possible dampness or water damage. The shower, situated within the bathtub, appeared to be a poorly installed afterthought. Due to these issues, I cannot recommend your facility to others. Sincerely, Howard David Clarke

Comfortable room
Room was comfortable. TV didn't have a great reception and there was a strong smell of cigarette smoke which I think was from a smoking area. It would have been good to have an air freshener in the room

The place in fine reception was realy nice on arrival we got room 1 at the frount the fire door was right next to our bedroom it squeaks every time someone whent though it got working up at 4.30 in the morning not very happy about that.the restaurant going to it someone had beed sick not very nine befor a meal. food was good but had to wait 30mi to get the puddy other than that fine .y
