Great hotel for concert goers
I was in town for a concert at The Pavilion at Start Lake. This hotel is 15-20 minutes from the venue and more convenient than staying in Pittsburgh. The staff was very friendly, checking in and out was super easy, and my room was very clean and well maintained.

The hotel was within a reasonable distance of The Pavillion at Star Lake. The two employees at the front desk were awesome. (Very friendly and accommodating.) The hotel is going through a remodel, but it did not interfere with our stay and our room on the third floor was done. It looked great! Again, the people were awesome and even helped us find a shuttle to the concert! Doobies and Steve Windwood!

We stayed on August 15th in Weirton. I’m out $300 due to a front desk receptionist who assured me that canceling our second night’s stay would not not incur a monetary penalty. Upon speaking to the front desk receptionist the following morning, I was told otherwise. I explained what I had been told by the previous staff member and she told me that I had been misinformed. They proceeded to refuse to reimburse me for the second night’s stay. So much for valuing a customer! You certainly won’t find that here. Go to another property where the staff will communicate properly and accurately or else you’ll risk paying for their mistakes.

You could hear everyone that walked by in the hallway and in the room next to us. The bed and pillows were uncomfortable. The sink plug was stuck down and the sink backed up. We used a knife to pry it up and let the water drain. The staff were very nice and they did offer a small refund for the inconvenience.

The staff really made this trip exceptional. Denise was wonderful!! I did not get the night staff girl name but she went above and beyond. She made us feel at home and the best part was her personality. She was awesome as well! I have nothing bad to say about this hotel. We would stay again. Thank you Fairfield ❤️

The hotel has been recently updated. We could see the dumpsters with the old mattresses. One thing housekeeping staff should look for is the mold up under the rim of the toilet. There was a lot of it. This isn’t the first hotel that I have noticed this. It is still visible without having to look hard for it
