Alt var virkelig fint, og dejligt med så god plads. Der var alt man havde brug for og personalet var søde. Sengene var hårde, men det virker til at være en standard i Japan.

I was so surprised at how nice my room was. It had a kitchen and a combo washer dryer which was a blessing. It was really modern and comfortable. The bed could’ve been softer though.

Good Hotel Choice in Kyoto
This is a new hotel in the Gion district very close to the Sanjo subway stop and less than a 10 minute walk from the Nishiki market and a good location overall in Kyoto. Very easy to take the subway all around the city. The hotel has a kitchenette with amenities and every room has a washing machine (but no laundry soap or dryer). I would only recommend management change three things:
1. We walked right past the hotel as the sign is extremely small and above eye level, so it's not easy to find.
2. Check in was complicated. The guy asked for the confirmation from our email, but we never got it. We then had to check in ourselves on a tablet and had to fill out information for every person, including kids. This took a long time. When I finally got the email a few hours later it was in Japanese and I couldn't read it anyway.
3. The beds and pillows were VERY hard and uncomfortable, but I think this is normal for Japanese hotels.

I received 2 small bottles of water the first day I was there, no more; I could hear occupants above, below and next to me with any movements they made, which woke me frequently; housekeeping only came once. The room was musty and moldy, staff were frequently not at the front desk

The hotel's condition is excellent. Its proximity to the train station, shopping, restaurants, and attractions is highly convenient. The reception staff demonstrated exceptional friendliness and professionalism. However, I encountered a minor issue during my stay. On the second day, housekeeping failed to clean my room. In contrast, other hotels I have stayed in automatically provide daily cleaning and replace towels as needed.
