I'd rate this hotel an 11 for its proximity to restaurants, carryouts, grocery, and entertainment. You're in the middle of EVERYTHING in walking distance.
The standard double room is large!
Now for the bad part:
The room I was in had two adjoining rooms and you can hear well through those doors if you have rowdy neighbors. There needs to be a full-length mirror to see your outfit for the day.
The outside stucco could use a good power wash. The stairs to get up to 2nd floor need to be derusted and maybe put the ladders and other tools away.
It's great the rooms don't have carpet. It's easier to clean that way. Beds were comfortable and the furnishings are up to date. More attention needs to be had toward cleaning - toilet, tub, sink overflow drain, and the sink drain. Each of these were dirty or clogged. The drop pan that the fridge sits on makes it hard to open the fridge.
The one staff person checking in was prompt and curtious. There are laundry machines if you need one, and parking is easy.
An okay stay for one night. Maybe two for a young couple.
