Stay here just for the cat alone

Not as expected.
Was confusing at first . I booked the room because I thought we had a pool and hot tub available in the building. We had to drive down the road a min or two to a different location. So swimming in NH in January, go outside to drive back to our room wasn’t ideal . If I would’ve realized that I would’ve booked differently. Making sure we were in the building with the pool and hot tub . Same for the restaurant we had to drive to the location . A lot of driving back and forth to use the amenities. We didn’t go for the breakfast included because we didn’t want to drive again . The restaurant had great food !! We enjoyed our dinner . In our rooms, the drive back from the pool , exhausted we needed to sleep . Our pillows had moldy looking brown spots all over . We picked out two pillows without spots and just fell asleep . A few other things in the room were not as clean as I would’ve thought or expected. Dirty Ice bucket .

Phenomenal
Amazing! The staff was phenomenal from start to finish. We were in the area for a surprise birthday weekend for my fiancé. The staff treated him like a king for his birthday. From a card, free ice cream, a bottle of champagne (waiting in the room), to personal birthday wishes from the staff. He was blown away, as was I. Food in the restaurant was top notch and a full hot breakfast this morning, that was included in our stay was great! Room was clean, comfy, and very nice. We will most definitely be back many more times.

Nice play ~ amenities are offsite from some rooms
The inn and lodge are both very nice. However, staying at the lodge up the hill you’re offsite access to the breakfast, pool the spa basically the amenities. There is a little continental breakfast and coffee and a few items to purchase at the lodge. Just keep that in mind, especially like us, we planned on using the pool and it would be nice to be on the same property. Everybody was extremely nice and it’s a well run place.

False advertisement, no amenities. AVOID
Do not book "Lodge/off site" you need to drive to another location get to free breakfast, use insoor pool, sauna, spa or any other offerings. The Lodge is a renovated econolodge that you can stay at for 50% lower cost. Comes with 24 hour access to snacks if it's stocked, so thats a plus.

We stayed for one night after attending an event at the Barn on the Pemi and having dinner at the Italian Farmhouse. After checking in, we socialized in the lounge with friends and family. The craft cocktails were very good, and I recommend the espresso martinis. Service was great and all staff with whom we interacted with were friendly and helpful. The room was large and the whole inn had lots of charm. There were great amenities there; a coffee maker, ice bucket, iron, fridge to name a few. In the morning, we used the hot tub, pool and sauna and enjoyed a basic breakfast buffet. We’ve eaten at many Common Man restaurants in NH, but it was our first time at these three. I highly recommend them all!

We stayed at the Common Man Lodge that is about a half mile from the Inn & Spa. It was a standard hotel room. We had to drive to the Inn & Spa to use the amenities because the roadway is not pedestrian friendly. Will definitely try to get a room in the Inn & Spa next time. The amenities and gardens there are much nicer.
