Walked into our room and it could have snowed in it. Had to turn on the heat and go to dinner and when we came back it was fine two hours later. Breakfast pretty much non-existent.

Will not be back
Well we went there for the main reason of the pool and hot tub when making the reservations and such wasn’t told it was closed they did move me to a room with a whirlpool in it but there wasn’t enough hot water to even enjoy that. There was not much of a continental breakfast.

OK if you're not spending much time in hotel!
We had a room on the first floor just down from the breakfast area. Our heater just seemed to be blowing air without much improvement in the temp in the room. I had used my own fleece blanket one night and finally asked clerk for another blanket (not much of a one either) and then added the big towel to the bed for some comfort! We had a new TV in the room which had 2 controllers making it hard to use! Breakfast supplies were OK but not much effort put into items or someone there to replace things as needed. V

Good: Pool and hot tub were nice, pool was warm and hot tub was not so hot you couldn’t stand it. Breakfast was good. Nad: No shower by pool that I saw. In room shower curtain was melted and didn’t stay closed during shower. Not enough space between bed and tv stand. Poor room lighting, no light on one side of bed even though there was a night stand.

We stayed for one night and chose this hotel because of the complimentary breakfast and pool. Check in was easy and someone was at the desk when we arrived. Our room was clean and had enough towels. We were happy to see the pool and hot tub were open after they were done being cleaned and the breakfast included a waffle maker, baked goods, and other options! The hotel is older but was clean and quiet.

The breakfast nook was not clean. Someone should be assigned to that area during that time, but no one there. Tables should have been cleaned but were not. Waffle maker should have been cleaned but was not. Lots of items wrapped in plastic? Not sure why.

I'd never stay here again.
Very musty smelling (possibility of mold). Had to spray everything down with Lysol disinfectant to make the room breathable.Temperature of the room was hard to control. The staff was always distracted, and did not acknowledge customers as they approached.

Super 8 Escanaba
This Super 8 was so much better than most Super 8's we have stayed at lately. It was well maintained and clean. The beds were pretty good for sleeping. The breakfast was not well stocked at 9 AM on Saturday until they came in after we had gotten our coffee and almost left. The guy who serviced it was very busy doing everything.

Hotel that doesn't care for you
Breakfast area was disgusting and out of everything. Black blown outlets by toaster. Heat and air didn't work on our room. Pool area smelt horrible and hot top water was burning. Not sure we will be back

Upon arrival at the property at 6:40 pm our room wasnt even ready when check in was at 3 pm. We were asked to give them more time and come back. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast room in the morning was a mess. Garbage left all over the food counters and trashes overflowing and half the food empty with no staff coming to clean or check on the breakfast room. Even when a staff member did come and only stocked the fridge the overflowing trash and garbage all over the counter wasnt even addressed and they left.
