Exceptional Hotel!
We wanted to stay one night somewhere while taking a small trip to Santa Cruz and Monterey and when looking on Hotels.com we came across this place. We would highly recommend this place to anyone staying in the area. The hotel is in a fantastic location, at the end of Cannery Row. It's very short walk to the beach and shops. At the other end of Cannery Row is the Aquarium which is a very short walk away. The hotel was VERY clean, spacious and also comfy. There is onsite free car parking too, what more can you ask for! If we visit the area again, we will be staying here thats for sure! Thank you for a great stay :)

Budget Friendly, Amazing Location, and Great Staff
Our stay at the Cannery Row Inn was exceptional. Our trip was unfortunately cut short by one night due to extenuating circumstances, but the staff was incredibly understanding and kind. Allan was extremely helpful and accommodating. The location was perfect - we were within walking distance to all of our weekend plans, from the aquarium to dinner reservations. The price was unbeatable, too. Highly recommend!
View from our second-story balcony. Enjoyed the breeze in the evening, and had a lovely fireplace to keep us cozy.

We had a wonderful visit and were very please with our room. Allan was very helpful and informative of the area. We would gladly return to this hotel on our next visit. Hotel hell on cannery row
We arrived at hotel unloaded our luggage and went to walk cannery row. We got back to our room around 8:40 turned on AC it wouldn’t come on. The turned TV on and there was only volume. Called front desk and he said. Oh it needs a HDMI cable. I asked for another room, there wasn’t one available. Talk to management in the morning… well I’m still waiting to speak to someone in MANAGEMENT!!!

Great place to stay.
Very satisfied with our stay. Great price. Great location. Some street noise (but not unexpected for a hotel close to downtown), but less than expected. An older hotel as you can hear the pipes sometimes, but will stay again!

A great place to stay
Cute, economical hotel right at the beginning of Cannery Row, across from San Carlos Beach. The Aquarium and all of Cannery Row are within walking distance on a cute and popular walking trail.

Nice place, well priced.
Great stay for the price! This location is 12 minutes walking from the Aquarium, and about the same to the Wharf. My wife and I stayed for two nights during the week and got the partial bay view room. This is priced about half what a nearby hotel was for the same trip. The location is clean however small details were clearly missed during previous remodels. Overall I would recommend this Inn if you are looking for a good location in the cannery district for a quick two-three day getaway.

Meh.
Monterey hotels were super pricey. Cannery Row Inn was fine but it’s pretty much just a Travelodge. If you go into it knowing this, you’ll be fine, but we paid almost £300 a night for the privilege.

It's a comfortable stay close to everything.Pretty much.I'm nothing super fancy. There is not a vending machine except for sodas But it is super close to everything like I said so it was easy to get the things that we forgot Checking was easy.There was no breakfast early in the morning They do have coffee in the rooms and the rooms are all different.Some carpet some laminated wood like flooring. Our first room we transferred out of had some plastic wrap on the bathroom wall that was left there by the Queen or whoever didn't clean fully. So we transferred out to be safe rather than sorry.
