Just ok.
Front desk was great! Very helpful. The room had a strange smell that i figured out is the water! Room wasn’t terrible. But there was a large stick on the floor by the closet so i know, no one vacuumed. Bathroom & bed looked clean. Also I would ask the cleaner who does the lobby etc to maybe use headphones instead of playing music on speaker on his phone. Nothing wrong with music while working! I think it helps efficiency. Invest in a set of headphones.

Worst hotel I've ever stayed, free breakfast was pathetic, same thick gravy & biscuits served everyday, no eggs, no fruit, no donuts or danish, no honey not even considered a continental breakfast. Stayed 9 days,booked 2 rooms much in advance got good price was going to check out but rates were too high aroubd area so stayed, no security in or around building..sigh on back entry door said must use key to enter but all you had to do was turn door lever & it opened..shady people in lobby & around building. 2nd friend's room had roaches, dirty stained carpet, toilet & tub appeared painted & surface peeling..no housekeeping on certain days, had to make own beds & go to front desk to get clean towels & toiletries..wasn't told of no service. Only one staff member, Joy, was helpful & courtesy. Would not recommend La Quinta West & will never stay there again.

Some verbal interaction would be nce!
Check in was good. Went back later to buy something from there very small store area and the same man who checked me in did the exchange. He never said anything to me not even after i said thank you! Just took the money! No personality....

Horrible hotel never again
I walked into my room and there were big holes all in the filthy dirty carpet but that wasn’t the worst it was the cockroaches crawling on the walls. I turned around and asked for refund. They said they couldn’t refund me because I booked through you. You said I would get a refund but I still have yet to receive a refund to my card. Please reach out to me to find out about when I will receive my refund. Worst part was they didn’t even blink an eye about the roaches so they already knew they were there. Shame on them and you for not dealing with this situation faster.

Overall clean
The beds are comfortable, nice clean sheets, 3 pillows, and overall clean, except I do not go barefoot in ANY motel. My socks did pickup dirt. They pick up dirt in any motel we've stayed in however. It would be nice to have newer towels, but the ones we had were clean. Clearly Wyndham is improving, but apparently not doing it all at once.

Not trustworthy
Had a room that the widow faced the road outside. There was no curtains so no privacy and the lights outside the window made it so that i got little to no sleep. Asked for $100 room deposit, and they were upset that i paid it in cash and when i checked out they refused to refund it. At furst they wanted to refer me to the place i booked through for a refund. Waited over an hour after checking out for a manager to refund my money. After reviewing my rental info found that was originally already included. So dont know if an employee or the hotel itself where trustworthy. Will not be staying with them again

Drive on amd Find another hotel
Dirty tissue in between bed and nightstand. Live german cockroach crawling next to bed. Mold in bathroom carpets nasty and water stains on ceiling and wall. To think they left am envelope for a tip for housekeeping is laughable.

This room was very old and dirty. We considered sleeping in our car but even the parking lot was sketchy. No sheets for pull out couch. Couch and mattress very dirty. This place needs a major updating and sanitation.

I’ve stayed in worse, but not many.
Location is great. Right off the highway, lots of shopping centers/places to eat nearby. When we parked and I got out of the car, I stepped in a giant pile of vomit right there in my spot in front of the hotel… that kinda set the tone for our stay. Hotel is old and desperately needs updating. Lots of paint, carpet, tile, bathroom wear issues. Towels had holes in them. Walls are paper thin, so you’ll love it if you enjoy eavesdropping on strangers conversations. Water out of the tap in the bathroom is disgusting… bring bottled water to rinse out your mouth when brushing your teeth. Elevator is kinda sketchy. But no bed bugs, so that’s definitely a plus. Front desk staff was nice enough. Breakfast was typical/average crap low end hotel stuff. Do you like carbs? Stale bagels and a waffle maker.

dirty with stray cats
entire hotel run down and looks unkept. room smelled like smoke and needed repairs. No hot water at sink. My friend had a STRAY CAT in her room hiding. I am NOT kidding.

Don’t do it.
This place is disgusting. It wreaked of marijuana. The carpet in our room was wet yet not vacuumed, there was bugs (dead and alive) everywhere. The hair dryer threw out sparks when turned on. The walls and ceilings are smoke and age stained and the elevator didn’t work the majority of my trip.
