Professional staff Welcoming and efficient

Great location, super helpful and friendly staff, comfy bed and great shower (I stayed in the Delixe single room).

The bed was extremely uncomfortable and overly soft, causing back problems. The walls were paper thin and I could hear conversations, people sneezing, etc. throughout the night. The heater was set to one temperature (that we could not change) that was way too high. We called multiple times to the front desk to have them lower it, but no one changed it. We had to turn it off and deal with the cold rather than the extreme heat.

The staff couldn’t have been more helpful. The room though small was adequate. It was clean and in good condition. The room was however located on the lower ground floor and I can only assume it was next to the air conditioning unit or heating system. There was continuous noise from this throughout the night.

Deluxe Single room, booked in June turned out to be in the basement with no window or view. Cramped for space. Shower not up to standard, think my have been partially blocked. Had to ask for heating to be turned on (3 December), was told it was controlled from Reception, told it would take 15 minutes to come through???
