We had requested adjoining rooms months ago, but they couldn’t even get us on the same floor! Other than that annoyance, the hotel was great. Easy parking, easy walks to lots of restaurants and fun marina activities. Watching fireworks from the balcony was a treat. Pool was comfortable.

I booked it, it said it included breakfast only to find out it did not. I would not have stayed there if I knew that. Also our first day they were checking the alarm system very noisy extremely loud and uncomfortable.

Check in is listed as 3pm. We arrived at the property around 240pm and I decided to check if our room was available. I was told that it was being cleaned and the staff member that was checking me in took my phone number and said I would receive a call as soon as the room was available. She told me we could use the pool or wait in the lobby area.We left the property to get a snack then came back and lounged by the pool. It was 4pm and I didnt receive a call as of yet so I went to the front desk and had to wait a few minutes before someone appeared. I asked how much longer it would be until our room was available and was told it had been available for awhile. I told the staff member that I never received a call. I was disappointed that check in was not available at 3pm and that we were never notified when the room became available.

My stay at this resort could of been a memorable one, if it wasn't for the critter/rodent problem in one of my rooms #224 from 7/25-7/28. Even though the situation was a difficult one, it could it been handled much more professionally. And with the prices the Courtyard Marriott in Key Largo charges I was SHOCKED at the lack of customer service and professionalism I was given. Grant it I was not a happy person when I had to move part of my family from RM #224 to rm#228 for the remainder of our stay. So now I had 4 adults in a King size bed and luckily I had a sofa bed in that room so we all had a place to rest our heads. But at $308 a night you would of expected a little more empathy for our situation. I will NEVER STAY at another Courtyard Marriott again. I am now staying in Fairfield Marriott in downtown Orlando and this is my 4th stay at this hotel and going forward it will be the ONLY hotel I will be staying at. I don't mind paying the money your facilities ask for, even though it's outrageous the costs, the service at Fairfield Marriott is always top notch. It's crazy as a business traveler you really get to know the ins and outs of the hotel industry. But I feel you only really get to know them once you have a problem and they have to address a situation like mine. I have first hand experience that the COURTYARD MARRIOTT IN KEY LARGO, does NOT know how to handle it and here I am still on vacation having to deal with there unprofessionalism tona customer who paid 2 rooms
