We loved this hotel: really nice staff, central location, quiet room despite lively neighborhood, historic and clean and tasteful property, all great! The hotel is near the chic art and shopping district of the Marais, but also the louvre, the left bank, the Pompidou Ctr Etc. we walked all over the place!
I would NOT recommend this hotel if you are in any way Infirm or can’t get your suitcase along the sidewalk (hotel is in pedestrian district) or up a medieval circular staircase by yourself.
Breakfasts are brought to your room at the time you request. If you don’t need breakfast before 9 or so, probably better to take it at one of the MANY cafe’s nearby and not prepay for it.
Rooms are small like most Parisian hotels, but they have larger bathrooms and are very well furnished.
A pleasure to stay here!
