Nice place to stay but couldn’t check in until 4:00 unless we paid an early check in fee of $25. Evidently there were rooms ready since we could get a room right away with paying this fee. Probably won’t stay there again as 4:00 is a late check in time.

The property was outdated. The AC was broken in our room. Half the outlets didn’t work, blow dryer didn’t work, and the outlet that did work in the bathroom, sparked my husband. Don’t recommend staying here.

When we arrived we had hoped for an early check in, unfortunately our room wasn’t ready. We asked if they could hold our bags and they said no. We hauled our bags to the car and went shopping. Once we got to our room we noticed it had a bad farm odor. We decided not to complain and deal with it. The resort provided a free bus to the grape stomp which was convenient. We stayed two nights and our room was never cleaned. We requested clean towels but were told that they didn’t have staff to bring them to us. Our room was about as far as possible from the front desk. This resort was once beautiful but it’s aged and in need of major updates. There’s not a USB port to be found. We’ve avoided staying here in the past 10 years due to the need for repairs- we hoped for some updates but that hasn’t happened. We will be looking elsewhere in the future for our girls weekends.

AC in room didn’t work and it was terrible hot throughout the property the whole weekend. Front staff had no help. No water available, no coffee, $15 for basic continental breakfast. Room was stuffy when we first got there and smelled of mildew.

We really did like this resort. The front desk staff were very nice and helpful. We enjoyed how spacious our room was, and we really enjoyed the view of the lake from our balcony. You can tell the building itself is a bit older, but they do a good job of keeping it really clean and maintained. The outside pool area was really nice. Enjoyed the mini golf course on the green, and playing cornhole. My main complaints are: 1. The people running the marina were no where to be found. A big reason we booked this stay was because we were told non-motorized boats were complimentary. Even the front desk staff in the resort couldn't get a hold of anyone. 2. The bed covers were super thin. 3. The indoor pool area seemed dirty. The hot tub had a bunch of dirt at the bottom. Besides those 3 things, this was a really pretty place to stay. Would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay. Beds comfy, bathroom clean, outdoor patio food/drink great, indoor and outdoor pool fun, and free kayaking for guests was so fun in a tandem kayak. Lake views were beautiful as well. Staff was friendly and very helpful.

Golf course staff is horrible, skip the golf. Do the water activities and eat well. Rooms are good size, place is convenient. Hotel staff also moves slow but good service was great.

Arrowwood is a great facility - especially wonderful for parents with kids - lots of fun options here. The three days in August I was there was really quiet - not sure why - school starting in a week or so, thought it would be busier. Friendly staff and very clean.

Family likes to go there, it’s ultimately a 45 minute drive for us but the facility needs some attention. Waterpark seems to has less and less things working every time we go there. Goose poop everywhere on the outside grounds. With it only being a 45 minute drive for us, maybe an extra 20 minutes on the drive to other water parks wouldn’t be a bad thing. Took a long time to get checked out due to only 1 person working the desk.

Not impressed
When i checked in I had to ask about restaurant details, how to get to my room. The person checking me in did not offer a map or point out a map that i discovered later on my own. The facilities were outdated for the price. I was not impressed with the pool and the hot tub had missing tiles. For the amount we paid per night, i was expecting something nicer. Save your money and go somewhere else.

Property was way overpriced for what you get! Indoor pool and hot tub were brown color and full of kids! Tennis court had no net! We booked early for a wedding and were given a handicap room. Shower curtain would not stay inside 2 inch lip so floor flooded. Toilet didn’t work well (plugged easily or kept running). Mold on fold down seat in shower. No fan mode or heat, air conditioning only! We froze first night! Breakfast in restaurant was $15 buffet only (same food you get free at a cheaper hotel) only it was luke warm. Would not recommend unless you golf!

Seems like this place is having rough time. Staffing issues, management problems, a bit run down. We tried to change our reservation two days before to remove one night from our stay. The person who answered the phone said we'd have to wait until morning because there's was no one on duty who could do it. Knowing that is be charges of I waited that long I ended up having to cancel to booking and rebook... At a lower price, yay me. Then we asked them to put the room on a different credit card than the one we booked with... No problem, except they did charge it to the original card and then charges us for the original booking as well! It took 7 phone calls to get it worked out and another few days before the credit hit my card. On top of all that, one reason we booked this hotel was because it had a nice restaurant which was supposed to be open at 5... Only not the night we stayed... Even the sign in the elevator said they were open that day from 5-9... The front desk staff thought they were open but then said they weren't but that we could go to the pool bar to eat. Not what I had in mind. Really wanted to like this place but they need to get their s#!t together.
