In general, the hotel is not as nice as the pictures portray, the standard is actually quite poor. Even the breakfast was very poor. Although the staff is very service minded and helpful, basic details were missing: bathub was clogged up, robes were not clean, and minibars were empty.

The location is excellent for convenience, walking 5 mins to Hyde Park and Piccadilly, 2 mins to Green Park, 5 mins to Buckingham Palace. The staff were helpful, polite, cheerful. The hotel was clean and inviting. We would recommend this hotel and would stay again.

Last minute reservation due to public transport SWT engineer work over the festive season. We were woken up in the early hours due to some people fighting in there room on the First floor for over two hours arguing. I state it’s not the hotels fault. The hotel room looked out of date, and noisy and considering the rate over £200 a night, this did not reflect in the quality of our room. I did mention the flight to the reception the following morning regarding the noise when checking out, however the lady didn’t seem to of know what had happened so the night shift staff should of informed the morning shift so anyone else who had the same issue, at least the staff would of know the situation of the noise in the early hours.

We enjoyed staying at the Hotel as it was very central to Hyde Park Green Park Station, Victoria Station for visiting all Museums in Museum Street The supper was very good in the lovely restaurant and not too expense specific the curry was excellent.The breakfast buffet was outstanding. The staff was very friendly and the manager very helpful. We will stay again at the Washington for our next visit to London.
