Stayed here several times. This was the worse and last. Saving money is nice but when unable to rest due to cigarette and pot smoke filling the room from other guests its always better to pay more!!!

Simple , clean, comfortable room. Served its purpose for my one night stay in St Simons Island as I was traveling alone a just needed a place to sleep for the night. The location was great , in the middle of the village , walking distance to restaurants and shops.

Cute and convenient
This place is so adorable! It was super clean and decorated with a touch of nostalgia. You may want to bring your own pillow. Bed was comfortable and the shower was amazing. Perfect location, too. I will be staying again!

I don’t want you to know how good this place is.
I’d love to be able to tell you that this place isn’t comfortable, well-appointed and designed, situated perfectly for walking around the village and the beach, smack dab in the middle of some amazing restaurants, but also with awesome suite rooms that will let you cook a meal if you feel like staying in. But it’s all of that and then some. I wish that I could tell you that the people who run the place aren’t friendly and welcoming. But they are. So look… here’s the deal. I don’t want to not be able to get a room here when we head to St. Simons for a weekend getaway. So maybe…YOU go. But keep it between us? Seriously. This place is great. Stay here.

The property was built in 1948 and it has a ton of charm. A half block from the St Simmons Island Village. Great location and an easy walk to shops, restaurants and the SSI Pier. Basic accommodations but clean and well maintained. We’ll definitely stay there again.

Nice place for a weekend get away. Found hair on the sheets and the sheets are worn ( little balls ) from being washed do much. Found cockroach under chair upon arrival.

We loved staying here for our weekend trip! The room was so cute and comfortable. The pier, shops, and restaurants are all only a short walk away. Public access beaches are only a couple of miles away.

Florida/Georgia weekend is the worst time to go to St. Simons Island. This lodge became a frat house and we left a day early because we didn’t get any sleep the previous night with a party going on outside our door and the management not policing the behavior on property. Never again.

The property was very good . We got there in the evening and left early so we really didn’t get to enjoy it. The rooms need some work though. It had a very strong bleach smell and the bathroom needed a lot of maintenance. It took almost ten minutes of water running to get hot water. There was a dehumidifier running in the room all night with the ac which made it a little harder to fall asleep and stay asleep. Got up and turned it off around one then slept better. Other than that, The location was great and close to many places. The night staff was very nice and helpful. But I wouldn’t stay here again. For the price of the room it should have been a lot better. Location is their main thing going for them.
