Overall disappointing
Elevator not working. (front desk personnel were apologetic). Computer was slow for check-in. (again front desk personnel were apologetic about this, too). Towels were old, thin and scratchy. Sink not behind bathroom door so necessary to disturb companion in the middle of the night (design issue). Toilet loud after flushing and took a long time to stop running

Just ok
The stay was just ok. I was disappointed when else came back from dinner and could not get back in the hotel because the door wasn’t working properly. Even the owner didn’t know how to work it! And then the firecrackers and fireworks they lit in the parking lot. I was not impressed by that at all. I do realize it was NYE but found that very unprofessional and to have the lobby filled with their family and friends.

Not exactly what we expected for the price
The person who checked us in was not really friendly. We had the idea that she might have just been hired as she read the directions for her to us, more than once. Our room + the fee for our dog was about $270.00, and in our opinion, our accommodations were not worth $270.00. It was just ok.

The room was clean; however, the bathroom is in need of updating. Odd odor upon entering lobby; thank goodness the room did not have the same. This was a pay at property; however, the employee did not say anything about if at time of check-in, so we missed out on a discount by not using a specific card. When we asked to have the transaction cancelled so we could use a different payment method we were told 'that's impossible, it's already gone through'. Very disappointing, would choose a different accommodation on our next visit.

The room had a smell of too much cologne. My husband cough was awful. No lid for the ice bucket. The towels were very rough. The whole place was unkept. The hot tub was not working. Not up to being a Best Western. Very disappointing. The dining area had 4 small tables and the food was awful.
