Horrendous experience
This was the worst experience of a hotel booking it is possible to imagine. When I arrived at the hotel it was in a disgraceful state with rubbish everywhere. It soon became clear that this was no longer a hotel but a shelter for the homeless. The only person available to speak to was a security guard who gave me the number of the owners, who are based in India. They didn't even know that they owned the hotel, far less whether it was open or not. I had to book into another hotel, obviously. Getting a refund was almost impossible and this website was completely useless. They have no presence in the UK and communication is through very poor call centres. I asked for compensation for the inconvenience and expense I had suffered but was offered nothing. If you are a traveller in difficulty this website will offer you nothing and I will never run the (high) risk of using it again.
