Review of Crowne Plaza London Docklands (Stay: 30th July – 1st August 2025)

I stayed at Crowne Plaza London Docklands with my family from 30th July to 1st August 2025, and I can confidently say this was one of the most frustrating hotel experiences we’ve had.
The air conditioning in our room kept shutting off throughout the stay, making the room hot and uncomfortable — especially at night. We tried calling the reception multiple times, but no one ever answered. We ended up having to go down to the front desk 2–3 times ourselves, wasting our time and energy on something that should have been resolved promptly.
Despite raising the issue repeatedly, nothing was properly fixed. As a gesture, the hotel offered us free parking, some loyalty points (not really useful to us), and a 20% discount for a future stay. Frankly, that doesn’t come close to making up for two nights of poor sleep and the stress we experienced.
I’m very disappointed, and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. A decent night’s rest and responsive service are basic expectations — and even those weren’t met here.
