I recently stayed at the Hilton Gaslamp Quarter, San Diego, California and had a very disappointing experience with their valet service. During my stay, my car, was deeply scratched while in the care of the valet. I immediately reported the damage and filed a customer claims form with the valet manager.
Unfortunately, despite multiple attempts to follow up, I have received no response from the valet manager, the front desk, or room service. This lack of communication and accountability is unacceptable for a hotel of this caliber.
I expected better service and prompt resolution of the issue, but instead, I am left with a damaged car and no assistance from the Hotel. I strongly advise future guests to be cautious when using the valet service at this hotel
