Terrible - will never go back or go to a Marriot!

It has to be the worse stay in a hotel in a long while and it wasn’t a cheap hotel! We arrived and drove around the hotel for a full hour as the carpark was full. Ended up in a multi story 10 mins walk away. When we arrived for check in we have to queue for 10 mins to check in. We’d booked a delux cottage room which we found could only be reached by walking through the carpark down an industrial carpark ramp. The outside door of the ‘cottage’ was scruffy and badly maintained along with the inner door to our room. When we opened the door there was a loud noise in the room which turned out to be a very old air conditioning unit. Not only was it unbearably noisy but it didn’t do the job intended and the room was boiling. There were no plugs sockets by the beds and only one socket that we had to share for charging. The bathroom was scruffy and in need of a paint and had a weird old fashioned shower curtain so made you feel like you were in student digs. No thought on furniture - the chair in front of the dressing table was too low to see yourself in the mirror when doing makeup. Breakfast was a disaster.Food was flat cold. Coffee and tea took 15 mins to arrive and when it did crockery dirty. No glasses for juice for the 40mins we were there. No side plates for toast so was eating toast from a saucer. No teaspoons so had the use a desert spoon. Loads of tables empty but dirty plates still sat on them. Staff were quite rude. It was a terrible experience from start to finish!

Not great!!

We go put in the cottage’s away from the main hotel, I booked a room in the main hotel so not sure why we was in the cottage’s, it wasn’t great, not what was shown online, the breakfast was really good, best thing about the stay, then we was also charged £30 for parking, also they have taken £100 from my debit card for extra charges and all I had to pay is for the parking but the £70 has not been refunded to my account, good location but wouldn’t stay there again

Absolutely loved our big and beautiful room over looking the ocean! Breakfast was perfect, but the coffee was terrible. Luckily, coffee is only a small thing and the rest made up for it!

Very old Hotel Very high situation to the beach..the lift to access the beach was not working..we have to go down and up walking a horrible sloppy ramp.. If you have knee problems ,don't go unless the lift is working. Very weak breakfast..bad service..old carpets.

Flott hotell med fin beliggenhet

Ærverdig hotell med knirk i gulvene. Flotte folk i resepsjonen. Veldig bra frokost med egen kokk som lagde eggeretter etter eget ønske. Skule spise middag og fikk meny. Der var det flere retter de ikke hadde ingredienser til. Det var litt nedtur. Det vi bestilte var godt men det tok veldig lang tid å få maten.

Check in poderia ter sido melhor

O check-in foi um frustante: chegamos três horas antes do horário marcado e nos informaram que o check-in garantido seria às 16h. Até agora, tudo bem, como manda a política do hotel. O problema foi chegar às 16h e nos informarem que ainda não tínhamos quarto, enquanto outros hóspedes estavam sem problemas. Depois de alguma certa confusão, um quarto ficou pronto imediatamente. Então, acho que isso poderia ter sido evitado, principalmente pois sabiam que já estávamos aguardando o check-in. Outro ponto ruim foi o café da manhã, eu já tinha pago na reserva, o que funcionou, mas meu filho só toma cappuccino pela manhã e esta bebida teve que ser pago à parte - ridículo um hotel 4 estrelas cobrar algo à parte por um café da manhã que já tinha sido pago. Fora isso, o hotel é bastante confortável, bem localizado e tem boa infraestrutura, exceto pelo estacionamento limitado, que às vezes pode ser difícil de encontrar. Não pude dar uma avaliação melhor porque algumas expectativas não foram atendidas.

The staff were friendly and very accommodating and the pool area is just wonderful we loved our stay and we will be rebooking
