The room was ok but get breakfast at The Crown
The room and bed were clean but I was disappointed overall, the inclusive breakfast was a self service selection of second hand odds and ends. Check in lad / bar keep was attentive and helpful but was new and on his own

Great Location and Good Hotel Overall
We booked to stay here for one night whilst visiting the area for a wedding. The rooms are above a pub and are pretty basic but clean. The room we stayed in had a comfortable bed, spacious shower room and complimentary tea/coffee, biscuits, water and toiletries. The staff were very friendly and welcoming; accommodating our early arrival without any quibbles. There is no hot breakfast available, but they provided a selection of multipack cereals, bread, ham, cheese and juices in the guest dining area. We went to a local bakery for coffee and croissants, as it was only round the corner! The rooms and building do need some TLC, but they have everything you need and are right in the town centre. There is parking available too, which is great for its central location.

I thought that you had already asked me for a review and I had done it! I have already got a response from the hotel! Anyway it was only a one night stay and we had stayed at the same place a few years ago; everything was satisfactory.
