Guy at the front desk was really rude, he tried to be intimidating. It was laughable some fat tatted dude from Helena is the least scary thing I've ever seen Didn't realize when I booked it but it is right across from the homeless shelter in Helena. Was super noisy all night, and pretty sketchy

In this case, budget equals sketchy, especially if you are traveling with a child. Property is dated/run down. Bedding & bathroom were basically clean, but mildew in the grout & on the ceiling of the bathroom. Bedroom furniture old & beat up. Big gap at the base of our door, easily a half inch of daylight showing through. People were sitting on the benches & on the stairs smoking cigarettes, weed, and drinking (both at night & in the morning) and barely would shift a little to let us by as they glared at us. The complimentary coffee offered in the morning at the office was good.

Der Check-in war gut. Sehr netter Herr, der auch ziemlich relaxt war. Die Lage ist extra klasse, weil direkt in old downtown wo auch tolle Bars und Restaurants sind. Naja, und die zimmer sind halt uralt eingerichtet.

Great location and access to downtown. Parking was tight at night but that didn’t affect me. Staff was attentive to my needs- mainly a used lightbulb. The room lacked a sheer curtain which would have been nice since I was on the lower level and many people passed by. Also bathroom door stuck.

I was a little skeptical about the safety of this place. It didn't seem too safe with men walking around BUT there were no problems and no one bothered us and everyone seemed pleasant. However, I would not stay if I was by myself and being female. It IS rundown and I didn't take a shower nor sit on the slip-covered chair but that is just me. Overall, good place to stop for a night. Price was okay.
