Loved, loved, loved, our stay here!!

We loved Bar Harbor Motel!!! The rooms were clean, they had a cute retro theme. The staff was so friendly and helpful. Answered all our questions, if they didn’t know, they would find out and come tell us. They suggested a place for dinner and even called up and made reservations for us. They had activities every day. S’mores by the campfire, make your own trail mix. There were chairs and a table outside of each room. It was so nice sitting outside and talking with the other guests. The shuttle bus stop to go downtown was right out front. They had postcards of their motel sitting on the check in counter, they were free and even had postage! I love sending postcards!!! I was able to stick them in their mailbox. I can’t say enough of how wonderful the Bar Harbor Motel is.

Cute renovated motel by Acadia National Park

The motel was great, the staff, location and cute rooms were perfect for our two day getaway in Acadia National Park. The free shuttle stops right in front of the hotel taking you to downtown Bar Harbor (recommend because parking downtown is not as available and costs money), but the stretch is also not too bad to walk. The breakfast was very good, lots of selection but I’d suggest to get there before 7:30 am to beat the morning rush.

I'd strongly recommend Bar Harbor Motel as a place to stay, the rooms were spacious and clean, loved the shower other then the shower base being extremely slippery, the staff was very friendly and the breakfast that is offered with the room had plenty of choices. One of our most memorable places we stayed during our 2 week motorcycle trip. On a scale from 1-10 I'd rate it an 11.

Hotel with Acadia in the back yard

A great location to visit Acadia NP, boat excursion and Bar Harbor. We enjoyed our room and loved the retro vibe of the hotel. The hotel had nightly activities and items to borrow (ex hiking poles)- the hotel has gone above expectations for additional enjoyment.

We loved our stay here! We booked it because it was well-reviewed and an affordable hotel in a good location. We were hoping for safe and clean but got so much more. It's a very cute and thoughtful motel - well decorated and spacious rooms. The staff was wonderful! Very helpful and truly committed to making sure we had a great vacation. There are so many thoughtful touches. My sister commented that this is what Disney SHOULD be doing with their budget hotels. Wonderful experience all around - we will definitely be back.

Bar Harbor Motel is by far the best property I've been to on any trip. Affordable for the area, convenient to Acadia without driving through much of Bar Harbor. My kid appreciated having his own bedroom. The breakfast was restaurant-worthy, not a typical continental breakfast. Laundry facilities were convenient. We checked out a day early and our last day was refunded, which I did not expect at all. I have recommended Bar Harbor Motel to all of my friends and family interested in Acadia National Park.

Breakfast was one of the best hotel spreads we have ever had! A lot of choices and everything was yummy. The room was clean and comfortable. We loved having access to the carriage roads at the back of the property! The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. I love this motel! The retro style theming is very cute. The rooms are spacious, very clean, look new, and very comfortable. They provide housekeeping every day and a delicious breakfast. The breakfast had a nice variety, including gluten-free muffins and bagels, which was very much appreciated. Everyone on the staff was extremely helpful and attentive. We enjoyed free smores by the fire and borrowed binoculars at no cost, very nice little extras that added to our trip. I can't wait to come back again!
