The internet connection is unstable. Other than that, it’s great place to stay. Friendly and competent staff. Clean room. Great bar. The hotel is within talking distance to the Lancaster train station (ca. 13-15 min) and local bus stops (ca. 5 min.)

We had a great stay at this hotel. The staff were very friendly, check in was easy, the room was spacious, clean and with everything you might need. The bed was very comfortable and the shower lovely. We were also right in the middle of town so could walk to shops etc. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Excellent friendly staff
Lovely hotel with excellent staff, they couldn't do enough to help us. Comfortable room with good facilities. The only little niggle was the outside security light kept coming on which made the room very bright when trying to sleep.

Wonderful property! Great location! And the people working there were amazing. So sweet, thoughtful, welcoming and helpful. They were all so nice. Tom was great at our arrival, and Lily is the sweetest person ever! Royal is lucky to have her! Highly recommend Royal Hotel and Bar! So fun to have the pub right there!
