All I can say is WOW!

Our room was clean and very cute. Host for breakfast the next morning, was wonderful and the pastries, fresh fruit, etc where wonderful. I would stay here again for sure when in the area.

The inn is on a very nice street in a charming small town. The property is well kep and historic. The owners and staff are very professional and friendly. We enjoyed the small town and shops. Plenty of good dining options. Set along the meandering river with homes and beautiful tree lined streets. Not far from highways. We stayed twice because we enjoyed our stay the first time.

Much of what I'm writing is likely due to the building old and me perhaps not paying close enough attention to our specific room. We didn't properly prepare for the noise of people walking up the steps (all rooms are up some narrow wood steps that make a fair amount of noise). Unless you are a heavy sleeper, bring a noise machine or earplugs (which we didn't). We were not able to take a shower at 5pm (no hot water). I mentioned this to an employee, and was told perhaps the other rooms that have hot tubs used all the hot water. Our room (#4) was tiny (my fault). We had to ask for another roll of toilet paper as we were left with little and no replacement. The entertainment outside was nice. The breakfast is continental and was nothing more than ok. We travel a fair amount and have stayed at many places. Based on the rate we paid, I would say the room and amenities are lacking.
