Avoid

Poor place to stay, a run down pub in a back street. Nothing likeb the images shown. Old dusty room, tiny bathroomand rock hard bed. Breakfast was in edible just a great grease fest.

Wonderful host/hostesses at this charming inn, in idyllic sourroundings. Nice bar atmosphere in the evening and great personalized breakfast in the morning. We found the place as a cheaper alternative to Edinburgh - can definitely recommend this, as the public transport was easy and regularly. Cheers!

Positives - staff were lovely breakfast was freshly made to order and really good Negative- rooms need refurbished and updated but you get what you pay for and it was very reasonable to stay. Would I stay again? Yes

Great stay on the way to Edinburgh Airport

The staff were fantastic, so friendly and helpful. Room was totally adequate for our needs, good value for money. Staff were highlight of the stay, so lovely! The woman offered us advice for our travels, helped us get sorted and sat and chatted with us in the bar. We didn’t catch her names but the two blonde lady was fab. Would definitely recommend this place.
