Wifi down, waste of money. Pay more for elsewhere.
Probably one of the most terrible experiences Ive had yet and Ive been traveling around the US for months and have stayed in MULTIPLE different hotels. So first, you have to check in using a kiosk. First time Ive ever done that.
Technology is technology so I get it but its a hollow experience.
I get my card and info, and go to the room. I check the wifi info and the pass is 6 letters. I have a feeling it likely wont work, try to long onto the only wifi available and it wants a 10 digit number.
I then go to the kiosk and ask about the wifi as I dont see one and cant log in with the password to the Aavgo 2.4 (the kioski wifi most likely). I ask and then get notified along the lines of, 'Sorry I didnt mention it but (hard to understand), the network is being worked on and it'll be just a couple minutes.'
I pretty much IMMEDIATELY can tell Im being lied to. So then Im back in my room and give it maybe 30 minutes and still NOTHING. This was the first time in a bit Ive had down time to work on things and I was looking forward to doing so. NOPE.
Go to a starbucks for about 2 hours to wait and come back later in the evening.
I come back. Nothing. By now Im NOT happy. I then ask the kiosk whats going on, and get the same thing thats i being worked on. Im then annoyed cause this is VASTLY inconvenient, and Ive traveled for months and this is the first time Ive EVER seen a wifi be down like this.
Go somewhere else, pay more for ACTUAL wifi. BAD experience. Want refund/$ back.
