Hidden Gem on the Sand — A Must-Stay

If you're tired of cookie-cutter resorts and want a place that actually feels like a getaway, this little beach hotel is pure gold. It’s got the charm of Old Florida with the kind of personal touch you just don’t get anymore. Woke up to waves and coffee on the patio, steps from the sand. Rooms were spotless, cozy, and had that breezy, coastal vibe — not overdone, just right. The staff? Salt-of-the-earth people who treat you like family without hovering. No massive lobbies or wristbands — just sunshine, sea air, and everything you actually want from a beach vacation. Walk to local seafood joints, grab a bike, or just park it with your toes in the sand. If you're lucky enough to find a vacancy, book it. You'll leave relaxed, recharged, and already planning your next stay

The Inn at Manzanita was perfect for us. We enjoyed our stay, the Host, the amenities, and the area. Highly recommended!

8/10 Very good

Good times at Manzanita!

This is a very friendly hotel! The staff was great. Location is in the middle of everything! The tv/ entertainment system is older and hard to operate. Couldn’t find the guide. If it gets off the hdmi-1 location your dead. Seemed like someone in room south of the Beachcomber was doing construction till around 10:45 pm. We have stayed in the building on the SE corner of the property and it was fabulous, thought this stay was going to be the same. Over all, a good stay. Price was reasonable.

We didn't even realize that we'd have a view! Very nice, wish we'd stayed longer.
Anna, 1-night trip

Awesome place

Fantastic spot. Block from the beach. Would definitely go ahead
Matthew, 2-night trip

The room was clean and the bed was so comfy. Listening to the ocean in the evening made our stay relaxing and the staff we interacted with were helpful and kind. We’ll be back!

8/10 Very good

a little tlc

We've always enjoyed the Inn at Manzanita as we did these past few days, however, it is time for some maintenance.Replacement of some windows, lighting the in front of the inn, and general repair to keep up with the cost of the room. Everything worked, which was good but it is just showing its age. I was clean though - so important!!
Jenny, 2-night trip

Very cute
Louis, 2-night trip

6/10 Good

Our room was clean. Property convenient to Manzanita restaurants and a block from the beach. But property well depreciated and in need of remodel. One window would not shut and door to deck would not lock.
Howard, 1-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

Everybody is running pretty short on staff, so it was a little slow getting checked in. Other than that, we both absolutely loved the place. The units are very thoughtfully laid out and very comfortable. It’s definitely a place I’ll come back to stay at.
Ben, 1-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

Very nice room. The fireplace is virtual and provides no heat.
Garold, 3-night trip

6/10 Good

We have stayed there multiple times over the years. This time there were limited dishes in the kitchen and ants in the tub that we had to wash away. Loud at the front desk early in the day. I would still stay here but maybe needs better upkeep.
Megan, 1-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

The room was very nice. It had a spa jacuzzi, but we did not take advantage of it. The sliding door to the deck had some problems related to the sea salt air. The TV, small kitchen, and microwave all worked well.

8/10 Very good

Inside drawer on fridge broken, so couldn’t safely store milk and orange juice. Microwave door has slight bad seal or hole; may emit microwaves to outside.
Peter, 3-night trip

Well, there was this virus thing that y'all haven't seemed to have heard of. As a travel company, you would think you would have. But, no, you are always extremely surprised when I call you to talk about it and my travel plans. Fortunately, the hotel - I've stayed there before and loved it - was smart enough to put together the statement that you forwarded from the city and actually understand that the hotels were closed. You should probably talk to them about how to read a press release.

4/10 Fair

While there were some nice features such as the woodwork, this was a disappointing stay. It was a huge splurge for me at nearly $500 for two nights. The bathroom, including the toilet, was dirty. The sheets were stained. There was sand all over the table. Staff are only available to check you in from 4-5. You can hear every sound through the walls, ceiling. The mattress was old and uncomfortable. Someone did change the stained sheets for me, but overall this was not a good experience and not worth the cost.
