Horrible Experience
When I booked my stay I specifically looked for pets policy because I was bringing 3 dogs with me. I booked this hotel because it allowed pets and saw that they didn't show restrictions regarding number of pets "(Pets

Pets are allowed for an extra charge of USD 10 per pet, per night)". Pets policy copy/pasted from Hotels.com website. So seeing that there was no restriction to number of pets and a $10 per pet additional fee I booked the room. I even sent an email in advance letting them know I was coming with 3 pets, their ages, and weights with no indication this was going to be a problem. However, when my daughter and I got there with our 3 dogs we were told they would not check us in because their policy is only 1 pet per room. I told them on the Hotels.com website there was no indication of that, and that is why I booked the room with them. They said it doesn't matter, 1 pet per room is their policy. I asked if they had to additional rooms I could book so we could stay but apparently they were full for the night. So, 9pm at night I scrambled to find another hotel (thank goodness for Quality Inn) for the night. Honestly, I don't know who truly is to blame here. If Hotels.com is to blame because they did not verify information with Americas Express Inn regarding their pet policy or if Americas Express Inn is to blame for not making their pet policy, clear to Hotels.com. Moral of story, do your due diligence. Call and email for verification.
