A nice motel
This motel is very nice. The furnishings are up-to-date, the bed and linens are quite comfortable, and the appliances are new. I had a very pleasant stay. It is a great deal for the price.

Pleasant but overpriced
$80 for a decent clean, very quiet old motel. But honestly $80? After driving all accross the country twice, we've got a good feel for price. We may have been the only guests, makes you wonder how the owner pays his mortgage, taxes etc. But as pleasant as our stay, really should have been $50 inc tax. Otherwise just a stop along long forgotten but famous and desolate Route 66

Spotless motel, a real pleasant surprise in a tiny town in western Oklahoma panhandle. Superb, friendly manager. Excellent ice machine, too! I would definitely stay again.

Oasis in the Prairie
We were happy with how comfortable the bed and pillows were. The room was clean but very dated. The bedspread looked new, as did the sheets. It was quiet. There really wasn’t any other choice of where to stay in Boise City, Oklahoma

I arrived around 8:30pm and the check-in was quick. The room was clean and quiet, except for the AC. Overall is a good place. I was driving through and needed a place to rest. The surroundings to the motel are not that great.

So this review is based on the fact all I needed was a clean bed and a clean shower. Yes, it’s older motel style, but Townsman Motel provided that at a reasonable price. Staff was friendly at check-in. I would stay there again if need be.

Very thin walls. We heard the tv from the neighbours till far after midnight. The bed wasn’t very comfortabel. The only dinner option was the DQ. The town was almost a ghosttown.
