Location was easy access, check in was uncomplicated and room size was nice. A couple things to note: there was no blanket on our beds and none in the closet or drawers to use. It was only a top sheet and another cover on top the same weight as a sheet. We were able to go down to the front desk and get 2 comforters. Just not sure why they weren't already on the bed. The mattresses were comfortable. The breakfast was somewhat disappointing. Make your own waffles, 2 kinds of cereal and small sausages, no eggs. Another older guest was quite disappointed as was I about the selection of food. Not an unpleasant stay and the staff was friendly, just a couple inconveniences.

The hotel was clean and modern. The beds were average in comfort with terrible linens. The comforters were very thin and stiff so I was glad we brought some blankets. I will say that the room was pretty sound proof - you couldn't hear other guests walking around or showering or their tvs. The female staff member that checked us in was very friendly and helpful- and she was the only one. The other staff members we encountered were busy on their phones or sitting around passing the buck to other staff. I had called for early check in and asked if they needed our info and they said no, so of course when we arrived there was no record of me calling. We asked 4 times for a crib and got a broken, crappy pack and play. There were 2 hand towels and 2 wash cloths- no large shower towels. The elevator broke and there was no acknowledgement by staff or sign so everyone stood there waiting while it didnt move. This left us lugging 3 small children and our stuff up 4 flights of stairs. 1 staff said someone called maintenance but they didnt show up. It was eventually fixed. This could be a nice place to stay if the staff cared at all, stayed off their cell phones and watched their language around guests.

For a fairly new property it is in need of some TLC. Our bathroom looked as though it had been repaired several times and there were areas of chipped paint. The room was small but it was just one night. I feel that if a hotel is pet friendly all of the pets should be housed on the first floor so that those floors can be cleaned accordingly and extra attention is paid to the flooring/carpeting in those particular rooms. It is also a courtesy to the pet owner, as they are closer to the main floor and able to get their pet outside faster. Designated areas for pets to use are also helpful.

Over-rated!

Reviews for this property are highly over-rated! Property was safe, furnishings were updated, parking was adequate, and there was easy access to the highway. BUT, extractor fan in bathroom didn’t work, so paint was peeling, pressed-board shelves were warped, and door was moisture damaged. Refrigerator door would not seal shut. Carpet was stained, walls were scuffed and damaged. Towels/wash cloths were hairy!- availability of replacement towels through front desk was limited. Phone in room didn’t work to call front desk or housekeeping. Hair in sink and shower. Mildew on shower curtain. Remote turned TV on but no other buttons worked- could only watch ESPN, which was also on the TV in the lobby, so maybe that’s the only station available? Breakfast was sparse and not replenished when something ran out, even when they were still serving for another hour. Your money is better spent elsewhere.

Disappointed by several things

Upon arrival we were told to pay $10/night for parking, which was surprising to us because on their official website it stated free parking. Then we were told that the free parking only offers to guests who book directly via the official website, not thru a 3rd party site. Then I read some reviews by others and learned that many had been 'tricked' by them. I would suggest that they put clear instructions on their official website that the parking is free ONLY if booked with them directly. Room was clean but there was NO blanket, comforter, duvet...etc. There were two super thin sheets for covering but these were so thin and basically just sheets which offered no warmth at all. I feel prisoners probably had better things to cover than this. There were several pillows on each bed but all of them were super firm and 'high'. After staying at this hotel my neck has been hurting for 4 more days. Also, our room was facing the highway and there was constant traffic noises even at 3am, extremely loudly. So, unless you enjoy listening to traffic all night long and having basically no comforter for the night, don't stay here.

Great hotel, questionable service.

We have stayed here 6 times over the past 2 years. We like the hotel and the location. However, we always book and prepay for a queen suite and 3 times they have given us a small 2 queen room. We have to keep changing rooms. Why can’t they get it right from the start?

The hotel was great, although the breakfast "buffet" was very disappointing. Cold food, only one type of meat on Saturday, no meat Sunday, cold food again and no syrup for the waffle which was the only warm thing because it was a make yourself.
