Overall OK stay, Good remodel job from TVs, fireplace to Fridge/Freezer combo. No food options. Not even a vending machine. I also did reserve a water view which ended up a sliver peek between buildings. That was disappointing.

My wife and I had been to this property before. The staff is wonderful and friendly the property has been renovated since our last stay. We learned the property is under new ownership. They took out the fireplaces and replaced them with gas fireplaces which are the only heat source. The only true complaint we had was the WiFi. It worked very poorly at best. It’s not important but without cable at the property we wanted to stream our shows and half way through a program the WiFi would go out. Sooo probably will try a different property next time.

No Internet connection Recently painted room not properly cleaned. Property is in transition from being very rundown to not quite as rundown. Location was convenient. Definitely go to the restaurant called Fishetarian!! Walking distance opens at 11 AM and closes at 7 PM. Get their grilled rockfish basically they're fish and chips is fresh local fish in the sweet potato fries are great.

Nice Hotel, Even Better Staff
Rooms were newly remodeled with a more modern decor style. Rooms had plenty of space, but there was no seating, so your choice was really only to sit on the bed. Outside seating area was nice. Beds were conformable. No traditional cable, tv was app based, and the WiFi was a bit spotty at times, but it was only really an issue in the evening as you were winding down. Staff was amazing and super helpful. Would absolutely stay here again

Amazing spot
The location of the property is perfect, just outside of town and all rooms face the ocean. The sunset is stunning. Amy gave us an upgrade and was really great at check in. The rooms are very comfortable, huge bed, giant TV and a fireplace underneath. The balconies are the perfect spot to watch the sunset. I wish I could have stayed longer

Under construction
Exterior was in poor condition and being renovated. Pool was under construction and blocked off. Beds were very uncomfortable and room was situated at slant. None of this was disclosed while making reservation or presented in the photographs online.

One night stay. Very comfy room. Looked newly renovated. Nice shower. Comfortable bed. Forgot some clothing items hanging in bathroom and I was able to reach out to retrieve on our way back to San Francisco. Really appreciated that!

Such a nice place! The room was clearly remodeled and had a super luxe vibe to it. The internet dropped out a couple of times while watching The Birds on Netflix, but other than that this place is incredible

There was no warm water for any of the three rooms in building 5 that I reserved until about 10:00 a.m. the day of checkout (12/8). The lobby didn't open until noon, so there wasn't anyone to reach out to, but thankfully I was able to find someone who worked on the property who was able to contact the property manager. But for my entire stay, I only had warm water for about 1 hour.

But the view was nice
I recently stayed at this hotel, and while there were a few positives, the negatives significantly impacted my experience. Let’s start with the good: the rooms were freshly renovated and looked great. The design was modern, and everything inside felt new and clean, which was definitely a highlight of the stay. However, the positives quickly faded due to a series of issues. First, the approach to the property was off-putting. As we drove in, it looked like we were arriving at an abandoned construction site, and didn’t know if the place was open or operating. It was difficult to shake the feeling that the hotel was still under construction or not fully operational. The bed, while new, was extremely uncomfortable. It was so stiff that both my partner and I woke up with sore backs the next morning. Despite being newly renovated, the bed was painful to sleep on, which made it hard to enjoy the stay. To make matters worse, the noise from upstairs was unbearable. It sounded like furniture was being moved around constantly throughout the night. This, paired with a neighboring room’s dog barking non-stop, made it nearly impossible to get any rest. Even after contacting the front desk, there was no noticeable effort to address the issue. Overall, while the rooms themselves were nice, the uncomfortable bed, constant noise, and the unsettling first impression of the property’s exterior made this a less-than-ideal stay. I would hesitate to return unless these issues are resolved

LISTEN!!! A beautiful serene renovated currently going through renovation hotel nestled in bodega Bay. A beautiful location for friends, family or solo staycation we 100% love the room love the staff and love the atmosphere. Don’t even get me started on the views!
