We will be back!

The Shore Point Motel was a lovely surprise! Terry and all the staff were incredibly nice and very helpful. The bed was so comfortable! The entire room was beautifully clean. We loved having a pool to come back to after a hot day on the beach.

I had a good stay :)

I stayed here for 2 nights. The room was very clean and housekeeping did a good job. The receptionist waited up for me, as I was a later check in, which was wonderful. She was very nice. I would stay here again. The only downside I would say, is the walls are thin. I could hear the neighbors and people outside and in the other rooms. Other than that it was a good stay.

Front desk was friendly, our room although a non Smoking room smelled like someone had been smoking all day in there & we couldn’t get the smell out. All the Towels were rough. The room was at least clean and was ok for a two night stay.

Off-Season Stay in PPB

I stayed for two nights at the Shore Point Motel the week before Memorial Day Weekend, still the "off season." I found the hotel to be quaint and nice. It was reminiscent of childhood stays in a motor court where all I asked of my parents was that it had a pool. Check-in was easy and friendly. I do think the office had abbreviated hours, perhaps 9am-5pm. They called me in advance to see when I would arrive and would have made other arrangements to get me the key had I arrived later in the evening. My room was actually two rooms. The door opened onto a small room with a queen bed, chair, dresser with TV, and nightstand. The nightstand lamp conveniently had electrical outlets for charging devices. There was HVAC under the front window. It took me a couple minutes to realize it was controlled by the thermostat on the opposite wall - a small sign would help as I feared it was broken. Once I clued in, it was fine. The back room had a kitchenette with a small table and a futon couch. The back door opened onto a patio with chairs and a short walk to the grills and pool. The bathroom was very small, but functional. It only lacked shampoo, which I bought later at a pharmacy nearby. All in all, the location was good for enjoying PPB and it was very retro. Had it had the "magic fingers" 25 cent vibrating bed, I would have thought I was transported back to 1969.
