We reserved a room without knowledge it was a smoking room and upon checking they were unwilling to change to non smoking as they claim there was none available. While that might have been true, smoking option was not displayed in booking as I would’ve never booked a smoking room. I suffer from apnea and staying in conditions with smoking stench throughout is unsafe for my physical and mental health. Not only that but upon check in, the sheets were not clean, the floor towel was stained (as in not washed well and still have shoe marks), the towel rack was rusty with aluminum flaking and attaching to the Hand towels, the toilet was no cleaned, the shower tub has women’s long hairs in it, I cleaned thoroughly and the covers to the beds were stained and the sheets to the beds were stained. I have photographs of all this. When I complained to the front desk I was told the cleaning person was not available to come clean. What king of service is this? This room was expensive 160 is a large amount of money for the quality and service provided. This is unacceptable. I demand a credit or refund for lack of service, lack of quality and lack of hospitable conditions. I will never again stay at a Motel 6. I will make a public complaint to Motel 6 directly and consequently to Expedia for hosting such horrible motels for rest when their quality of service is unacceptable. Extremely disappointed. Horrible. Absolutely horrendous.
