Caring, comfortable, and beautiful

Traveling as a single, older woman, I felt safe and cared for. Everything was simple and easy, clean and comfortable. The hotel restoration was beautifully done so that as an artist I enjoyed being surrounded in lovely harmony. The outstanding dining was icing on the cake.

Beautiful large suite with kitchen and jacuzzi tub. Food was excellent. Dining room staff superb. Only issue is king suite located above patio with live loud music both Friday and Saturday nights. Soft acoustic music without amps would have been better

Our stay was wonderful. The room was very clean and comfortable. Hotel is walking distance to some restuarants and coffee shops. The windsor restuarant is excellent, food is delicious. Also there bar is top notch. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay again

Wonderful historic hotel beautifully restored. Rooms were very comfortable & large. Everyone who worked there was very nice and helpful. Restaurant was excellent and Wednesdays were half price bottles of wine. Delicious!

Revisiting San Luis Valley.

Very nice refurbished historic hotel. Several options for eating….nice patio where musicians played. Town making strides to upgrade downtown. Very quiet room. Would definitely stay there again.

Struck Gold in Del Norte!

The Del Norte community came together to save this charming hotel just before it was torn down. One of the oldest hotels in Colorado serves up fine dining treats in the formal dining room and delightful cocktails and bar food in the pub/cocktail lounge. A group of young entrepreneurs have taken this gem to another level by adding a 21st Century distillery and tasting room where we enjoyed live music and delicious Manhattans. Made Del Norte a destination for us!
